I have, indeed, been available. I have made at least two appointments with Mr. B[redacted] to meet with me at my home and neither appointment was kept by Mr. B[redacted]. Instead he showed up at other days when I was not at home and just left his card in my door. Even during the job, Mr. Brown would tell me he was coming on a particular day and time and then would not show and then show another day that had not been scheduled.More needs to be done than replacing tiles. The walls are not finished on the outside of the shower stall.
There are wavy areas and even a large crack at the bottom of the shower door outside the stall by the door, which, he even said he would have to redo. My son was present the one time he showed to see what my complaints were and he heard Mr. Brown admit that the shower stall needed a lot of work to fix it.  He is lying about the amount of money I have paid him in cash for his hired labor as well as materials.  I did cancel the final $1200 check due to the horrible condition of the shower stall. I have had 3 different contractors look at the job and all 3 have said it needs to be all ripped out and redone. They said even the shower door was not installed correctly and that is the reason for the bottom area cracking.

The shower head that was installed is the one that he was given and he was only responsible for the wiring for the fan and that has been done. The business is still willing to address these concerns with this customer.

Review: The work done is not acceptable. There were at least 13 large ceramic tiles installed in a shower stall that were chipped. The tiles were installed crooked. The shower head has an open area around it not covered by tile. The drain has tiles that are crooked around it. The door to the shower stall is not installed correctly and leaks so that the bottom outside has now split and the wall to the shower stall is wavy and unfinished on the outside. The entire job is very unprofessionally done and yet it took a month to do! I have asked Mr. Lafayette to come back to redo the job but he never shows up at the day or time he agrees to come but instead leaves a card when I am not here and no appointment was scheduled. He never finished the job. The ceiling fan was never installed in the shower and he took my new shower head away that I had just bought and installed a cheaper one.Desired Settlement: I want all monies paid to be refunded and the shower head paid for that I previously had to be paid for so I can get another contractor to redo the job.
