Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowThey stated in their last correspondence that they are attempting to buy me off with $and I wanted my medical records so I could show that I have spent tens of thousands of dollars on services from LJCSC and after years of being a faithful patient and customer they are now refusing to help me after verbally and emotionally abusing me.
They also state that they are offering me this money because we could not reach an "amicable" conclusionThis is simply not the case and completely falseThey (*** the PA) has the complete ability to correct the lopsided-ness of my eyes and eyebrows as she has done numerous times in the past and told me it was common to have touch upsI don't understand why this time was different that they thought it was okay to leave me disfigured for months?
It's obvious by the offer of money that they simply don't care that I was abused by one of their medical professionalsI don't think they quite understand the emotional and mental abuse I endured from ***. I've been to counseling and have had suicidal thoughts. When someone in the medical profession gives you a diagnosis and that diagnosis is that your entire face is misshapen, it has a strong affect on ones self-esteemThe fact that in their professional opinion, the emotional abuse I endured at the hands of *** and her assistant, going to counseling for being depressed and STILL to this day, months after the procedure, be dealing with disfigurement, is worthy of a measly $in restitution is insultingI've spent more than that at almost every visit
Regards,
*** ***

This patient signed an Informed Consent and understood the parameters of Botox treatment. Our very experienced Physician Assistant, *** ***, provided a touch up treatment for
the patient at no additional charge but did not find it medically appropriate to continue to the extent the patient was requesting. Since we were not able to resolve her concerns amicably, we’ve since refunded the patient’s credit card.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The first thing they state is that I "signed the consent form and understood the parameters of Botox treatment" and yes it's true I signed a consent form and I fully understood then and continue to understand now the parameters of Botox. I have been given Botox injections by [redacted] about 10-15 times over the course of the last 4+ years. My understanding of the consent form is not in question. Of the times I was given Botox injections, I needed to have a touch up to fix something about 80-90% of the time. [redacted] always did a touch up at no charge and at times even had to have two touch ups to reach the desired results. When I asked [redacted] why a touch up was required almost every time, she said it was because it's difficult to get desired results the first time and most patients often require touch ups. I didn't think this last time was any different. I got Botox, a week later I noticed my eyebrows were uneven and my eye shape had changed so I made an appointment to go for touch up as I had every other time. Only this time [redacted] walked into the room and proceeded to raise her voice at me, insult my face and my looks and absolutely refused to discuss my reservations. When I insisted that I needed a touch up because although she was saying she thought it looked fine, I disag[redacted] and seeing how it's MY FACE, I assumed what I thought would override what other people in her office, like her under-qualified assistant thought about how MY FACE. She also told me it wasn't her ability to inject Botox that was the problem it was the fact that my face is uneven and that's the best she can do which didn't make sense since every other touch up resulted in me being happy with the final results. After further insisting, [redacted] came around with a needle and before her assistant was able to sanitize the injection point, [redacted] stabbed me in the forehead one time, said "I don't think that's going to look good" and walked out of the room. Alone and helpless, I had no choice but to leave unhappy and with my eyebrows looking worse than when I walked in.
I would pay them another $285 if it meant that for the next 3-4 months my eyebrows were not uneven and my eye shape didn't changed in one eye. If they think refunding the money I paid for the injections will resolve this issue then they have no idea what the issue is- [redacted] was completely unprofessional and UNETHICAL in every sense of the word and if they think that refunding my money will resolve the issue then it's obvious they don't understand the issue. They could have helped me fix it and instead I have to look like a freak for MONTHS! I don't even have the ability to go to someone else to fix it because I'm being told that another doctor/nurse does not want to take the chance trying to "fix someone else's mistake" it's too difficult to know exactly what [redacted] did so it's impossible for anyone else to attempt to correct the mistakes.  The money is not the issue and will not resolve the issue in any way. I need my face fixed. [redacted] had the ability to do so but is refusing.
The unprofessional way she "spoke" to me and her absolute refusal to help me when it was completely within her power to do so, is the most unethical experience I have ever had with a medical professional. And certainly not something $285 can resolve. If they want to resolve with money and not fix my face then I will have to go to court and ask for pain and suffering and further expense and $285 will not cover it. If hey actually want to resolve the issue, the only resolution that's acceptable is to correct the mistakes so that I don't ha e lopsided eyebrows and different shaped eyes for he next 3-4 months.
Regards,
[redacted]
