For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.La Jolla Florist I believe is not telling the truthThey delivered the flowers correctly the first time but we never received further deliveries after thatMy father in law was at home all day and did not receive a second bouquetIt is a lie that a second delivery was made or the florist's deliverer delivered it to the wrong houseI have no idea who these other people areI have never fabricated my name but wanted to stay anonymous concerned about the florist coming after meI was correct because I received a threatening phone call on Friday and I have high suspicion that it was someone from the floristI'm having the police investigate this and have spoke with other people who have complained about this florist with similar negative results.
It mades me very sad that I cannot work out this issue with the floristI'm very upset that they are fabricating information and have no remorse or desire to work things out with meThey have not reached out to me personally or apologized.Regards,*** **

Dear Revdex.com,[redacted] is threatening our business. An unhappy customer will either ask for a redelivery or a refund. We are not sure what else to respond to the continuous fabrications. We would like to bring in our attorney going forward to respond to any future threats from [redacted]. We have not made a call to her or her family and have no idea what these stories are she is creating. La Jolla Florist is not a brand new business, we have been selling flowers in this city for 30 years. Once our attorney is involved, he will initiate his own investigation on [redacted] and her stories.Sincerely,[redacted]Manager

Review: I ordered flowers online. I did not receive the flowers advertised on the picture. The colors were not even the same. The size was significantly smaller.

When I called to correct this issue, they lied and claimed that they sent another bouquet with the right flowers. I never received them. I called them again. Then they claimed that they were delivered the next day. It never arrived again. I believe they provide poor customer service and should not be a business that's open.Desired Settlement: I would like this company investigated. Based on Yelp reviews which are terrible, I'm not sure why they are still in business. I would like this information to be advertised to other consumers so they don't go through the hassle I did.

Response:

Hi,

Review: I ordered a flower arrangement as my mom was in the Hospital. I placed the order with Atascocita Florist in Texas and they sent a wire to LaJolla Florist. My mom took a picture while she was in the hospital to say the arrangement brightens the room. The arrangement that I ordered was called Zien Artistry and the picture did not look like what I ordered. I spoke with [redacted] at Atascocita florist and she stated that the florist did not notify them of a change. After 36 hrs the arrangement was already dying. The flowers were in a plastic container which is not what I ordered. My mom also send me a picture of the dying flowers. I spoke with ([redacted]) with LaJolla florist and she was very rude and would not help me because I did not directly order from her shop. [redacted] stated that LaJolla florist said they delivered five arrangements to my mom and maybe the cards got mixed up;however my mom only received one arrangement. My mom would like to know who the other four arrangements were from as she did not receive them.

[redacted] called on June 19th to say that another arrangement would be sent and asked for my Mom's address and I sent her a text message with all the information including her phone number. I waited until Saturday and still no new flowers. I ordered the flowers on June 11th. Sheri said her policy was that I would need to notify her shop within two days of the dying flowers. Really my mom was in the hospital sick and she was requesting two days notice . [redacted] provided poor customer service. My mom was leaving home on Friday thinking the flowers would be re delivered on Friday and she called the LaJolla Florist and they said they have no flowers to be delivered at her address and was told that she would have to contact the florist in Texas.Desired Settlement: [redacted] said the flowers would be re delivered and they were not;so I would request a refund as I have dealt with this issue way to long.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I have attached pictures of the following:

1) Flowers on June 14th

2) Flowers on June 11th-Scripps Memorial Hospital-in a plastic container(which [redacted] states she did not send)

3) Flower arrangement that I ordered from Atascocita Florist, how does this look like what I ordered?

4 & 5-Confirmation of flowers ordered and what I paid for them which is $77.40

Why would LaJolla Florist re deliver flowers on June 13th when I did not complain to Atascocita Florist until June 14th at 1:51 p.m? (I have cell phone records to back up time)

[redacted] called me back on June 16th at 12:31 & 12:43 to discuss the complaint I left a message with Debbie on June 14th as [redacted] had already left for the day.

The first time I talked to [redacted] was June 16th at 5:44 p.m. (Houston) and she requested that I call her back as she was helping another customer. I called back on June 16th again at 5:59 and discussed the complaint with her

and that when I was referred to talk to the Houston florist. I only spoke with [redacted] at LaJolla Florist as she stated that I was screaming and wanted to talk to anyone?

[redacted] called me on June 19th @ 10:18 a.m. and asked me for my mom's home address as the flowers were going to be re delivered. I texted [redacted] at June 19 @ 10:43 a.m. with my mom's address and cell phone.

I thought that the flowers were going to be re delivered on June 19th or maybe the next day, but it never happen. My mom emailed on June 20th and asked what the telephone number was for the florist as she was leaving to go out Friday night and maybe they could deliver on Saturday and she was told they had no flower arrangement to be delivered. My mom also said she would have to call the florist in Houston.

[redacted] called my phone and left a message on July 9th @ 10:04 a.m. thinking she was leaving a message for Atascocita Florist and it was a very interesting conversation.(which I saved)

Regards,

Business

Response:

please note..the original order for [redacted] was a Teleflora order for $61.50 not $77.40 to include a $10.00 delivery charge the item was t81-1a,and it was delivered on June 11Th,after 2 days we got the complain from someone at the hospital and sending florist ,on June 14Th the 2ND order was re-delivered and we did fax proof of both delivery to you. after so many phone call from [redacted] and sending the picture of the arrangement which it was not from our shop and accusing us to have $77.40 which was wrong and we did fax the original invoice to you which was $61.50." THE ORDER WAS CANCELED "and she got her money back. what else we can do? this is a business harassment and we will contact a legal adviser. best regards, [redacted]

BEWARE!!! See other poor ratings on Yelp.

I ordered flowers online to be delivered to my mother-in-law. Not only did we not receive the correct flowers, the size was significantly smaller than advertised. I ordered a large bouquet with sunflowers, orange lilies, roses, and other colorful flowers. I received a small clump of carnations, leaves and other cheap flowers, NOT EVEN THE SAME COLORS AS THE ONE I ORDERED.

Then it gets better...

When I called to complain that this was not what I ordered, they lied and insisted that they dropped off another bouquet with the right flowers. They never did. Then they claimed it got delivered the day after. IT NEVER ARRIVED!!

This is a sham florist. You will be wasting your time, money and efforts ordering from them. Your mother, sister, wife, girlfriend or other significant other will be disappointed .

There are plenty of other florists in the SD area. Don't bother with this one. You'll be sorry. Worst customer service in the world.
