With all due and respect we acknowledge the complaint filed on May 18th, 2017 by Ms. [redacted] regarding her credit report fees. Unfortunately we strongly feel that she owes us $70,00 in credit application fees. In the letter of complaint, Ms. [redacted] stated that her credit application was not... considered last year in April 2016. We have collected the application fees last year as well as ran her credit report. Unfortunately her credit was unsatisfactory for us to rent to her. We strongly believe that people have the possibility to change, so when she came back to us in May 2017 we have decided to give her another chance. We have done our due diligence and despite the fact that the credit application fees have not been collected we ran Ms. [redacted] and Mr. ***'s credit once again on May 18th, 2017. Unfortunately just like last year, Ms. [redacted] has 28 collections on her credit report and Mr. [redacted] has 8 opened collections accounts totaling in almost $17,000.00 of debt. Just like we have been unable to rent to them last year we won't be able to rent to them this year either. I understand Ms. ***'s frustrations, but all we can say is that we are truly sorry. Our application fees include the cost of credit application as well as the time spend on verifying all the information and reference check. Therefore, we strongly believe that Mrs. and Mr. [redacted] owe us $70.00 credit application fees for May 18th, 2017.
As we have mentioned before, the $35.00 is an application fee and it is not a credit report fee. You have submitted your application two times and therefore you still owe us $70.00. Unfortunately your application was rejected once again due to numerous collections accounts that are still outstanding. Please, remit your $70.00 application fee to us as soon as possible.
