Starting with outside steps of which he did a beautiful job three years ago, Shaq has continued to do repairs at my premises. Three years ago he did the steps and I was so pleased with his professionalism thorough workmanship that I reached out to him this spring. He has now done a beautiful driveway, with amazing borders for my flower garden; repair to the roof and resolve problems of water flow in the back. I will continue to hire him as the need arises

I called and Shaq picked up, he was very pleasant and scheduled me for saturday only two days away. I was fortunate that he was working on another home close to my neighborhood and gave me a call to see if someone was home. He repaired the rood ( Raccoon Damage ) in about 35 minutes. I was so pleased he took pictures before and after and explained the whole process. So end of story is Shaq fixed my roof in less than 24 hours after I called his company and at a price that I was very pleased with. I saved his number and I am planning on calling him again for a couple of projects in my house.

LA One provides great work, friendly service and awesome results. I would recommend them to anyone on a budget and in need of execellent work.

Shaqeel is reliable, courteous, and professional. He and his workers showed up at the time he said they would. I had roof repair, gutter/downspout work, chimney repair, sliding closet doors installed for two closets, ceiling repair. front yard, driveway, and backyard mowed and cleaned up. The weeds were waist high. I'm very happy with the work he and his team did. I'm already setup to work with them again actually. Shaqeel is very reasonable and explains everything very well and doesn't rush you either.

I had painted brick exterior wall repair performed by LA One Construction. Shakeel(the owner) brought two laborers to job site, instructed them on what to do and then left for another job.
Unfortunately his workers either didn't know how to do the job, didn't understand him(they were Mexican and he is Indian), or decided to take short cuts in the absence of their boss.
The task was to scrape off loose paint, then brickpoint areas necessary and then paint with thorough seal.
What they did was scrape with one hand and paint with the other. Having completed 3/4 of job in 3 hours and having noticed the unconventional work I decided to inspect.
What I found was that workers were just painting over loose paint. I was able to peel, in multiple locations, loose paint from under freshly painted areas - with my fingers. After I complained the one work said he would double check work. While he was scaling wall on top part of wall his coworker was painting below him. I had to call their boss and voice my displeasure with work. I've done this work in the past for my own properties and have never thought of painting and scaling at the same time as dirt from scaling is dropping right into the wet paint. Shakeel came back to job site 2 hours after I called to complain later to finally supervise his workers and have them recheck the work.
To his credit he did try his best to rectify the problem, unfortunately I won't know how well the job will hold for sometime.
He gave no discount for the poor performance. What would have been a great gesture.
He told me to call him if I had any problem. Will be sure to update here if necessary in the future.
