I was featured in a Npublication in Cordera, Colorado Springs editionThe process was a bit unusual from the start, but went really bad after I received the magazineThe first thing I noticed was that my last name was misspelled in big letters not once, but twiceI am a graphic design professional and was baffled that the most important thing, the featured families name was misspelled??? They did manage to keep in the copy that I wrote, where the name was spelled correctly, in tiny type, which was place directly below the misspelled nameApparently there is no one editing this publicationWell, I emailed to let them know of their mistake, and was basically attacked for noticing it, by the area directors wife, who is the "creative director" I say that with tongue in cheek, because she is a real estate agent "pretending" to be a creative directorI have worked in the advertising/publishing industry as an art director for 20+ years, and this was a jokeHer husband did call and leave me a message, at this point I was done with the ridiculous situationTheir response after this was to remove me from my neighborhoods mailing list, I have lived here for 7+ years, and I don't think these yahoos even live in my neighborhoodI haven't received a magazine sinceuntil this monthThey made a "feature" family edition where they put all of the families of 2016, in which my family has been left out, we were MayAll other families are includedTHESE PEOPLE ARE JERKS! I kind of think they may be a little racist too, my story of my family was about my husband being from Syria, and his family is refugee's which have now settled in GermanyThey have done their best to leave us out, and our storybut they did manage to include my dermatologist who was a refugee when he was from VietnamI guess if I was a dermI would get a little more respectI am going to do my best to get this [redacted] magazine which does nothing but isolate people removed from my neighborhoodThese people are parasitesthe end
