Thank you for contacting Milwaukee Appliance in regards to your concernsThe $is charged as soon as the technician gets to the homeThis is our standard trip charge, and is not included with any repair/saleRegardless if work was done or not, this fee would be chargedIf repair is not be done we do charge a standard diagnostic fee of $30-$40, which was not charged as customer did make a purchaseCustomer purchased a Reconditioned Washer from the technician and it was to be delivered on 10/1/Customer called stating that she wanted to look at washer before delivery was madeCustomer came into store and stated that she did not like the machine because it showed wear as our reconditioned machines are usedOur General Manager stated to her that she could choose a different machineAt that time, the customer stated that she was going to cancel the deliveryThe customer was refunded all monies paid minus the trip charge of $39.95, in which she should have been charged $trip charge and a diagnostic fee as well and she was notI apologize that the customer is not happy with the service that she received, but we will not be refunding any further monies as the technician did go to the home and diagnose the issue, and customer was only charged the trip charge and not the diagnostic fee

Everything they say is correct except that he left because I didn't want to buy a new refrigerator and did not put together the parts that he had dismantled. He should have done that before he left. Why didn't he do that? He just walked out. I was told to use a hair dryer was not a good choice. He could have ruined the plastic. Also, he told me he couldn't fix it. He never said anything about Sears. That's why I am not satisfied. An apology would have been in order

We are responding with same response as original. Regardless if work was done or not, this fee would be chargedIf repair is not be done we do charge a standard diagnostic fee of $30-$40, which was not charged as customer did make a purchaseCustomer should have been charged $trip charge and a diagnostic fee of $30-since machine was not repaired and purchase not madeTotals and quotes are gone over with customer before bill is made out so that the customer may decideOnce decision is made, technician writes up the bill and customer makes payment and signs invoiceCustomer received refund of all monies minus $for the trip chargeShe will not be refunded this amount, as technician did go to home.

Customer contacted our store on 10/2/at 9am stating that her refrigerator was leaking and the freezer was frozen shutWe collected her information and stated that we will try to get someone out the same day, but we can't guarantee that it will happen as our technicians were booked with calls
We happened to be able to squeeze her in a few hours after her initial callTechnician went to home and states the unit needs to be defrosted as the water froze in the freezer areaThe technician proceeded to defrost the freezer with a hair dryerTechnician estimated the repair at $259.95+$trip chargeCustomer refused the estimate and didn't want to pay the amount to repair the refrigerator, so technician also gave her some prices on new refrigerators, if she wanted to purchase a new unitAt that point of the service appointment, the technician advised to the customer that since she purchased the unit from Sears, that maybe they would help her with the repair charges since the unit is only a little over a yearCustomer was not charged anything, including the standard trip charge of $for the technician to come outWe have no intention of going back to the customer's home as we are not able to accommodate this customer

The company has not resolved the issue. The technician never once touched my machine or even looked at it. He only stood next to it when he gave me the bogus estimate as I have stated several times. We happened to be able to squeeze her in a few hours after her initial call. Technician went to home and states the unit needs to be defrosted as the water froze in the freezer area. The technician proceeded to defrost the freezer with a hair dryer. Technician estimated the repair at $259.95+$39.95 trip charge. Customer refused the estimate and didn't want to pay the amount to repair the refrigerator, so technician also gave her some prices on new refrigerators, if she wanted to purchase a new unit. At that point of the service appointment, the technician advised to the customer that since she purchased the unit from Sears, that maybe they would help her with the repair charges since the unit is only a little over a year. Customer was not charged anything, including the standard trip charge of $39.95 for the technician to come out. We have no intention of going back to the customer's home as we are not able to accommodate this customer.
