RevDex.com: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted] . Please add your rejection comments below. Regards, [redacted] La plata Motors refunded the $6300 I requested but did/could not refund me $200 for the tow and I'm still currently waiting for the sales tax & registration refunds back from the registry. I wouldn't recommend this "business" to ANYONE. I certainly hope some: e investigates this company & the cars they are selling. During the process with [redacted] , I had spoken with the attorney general/secretary of state, [redacted] , & he advised me to file a claim after getting my money back in hopes that this kind of situation NEVER happens again, not just to me, but to anyone.

RevDex.com: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted] .. we reject the businesses response.how dare this man accuse us of any substance abuse. My wife and I do not have these issues. The focus is on the vehicle he sold us. He has lied from the beginning. The vehicle was brought to him within the warranty period, but the vehicle was never repaired properly. Additionally, he kept putting off the repair due to his mechanic being ill. Now other issues with the vehicle have appeared: the brakes are failing, the wiring is decaying, power steering issues. How this vehicle got an inspection sticker, which was handled by him, is questionable. We him to take the vehicle back and refund our money. Regards, [redacted] ***

In response to the complaint on behalf of *** ***-I was contacted several times by the Mom after warranty expiredSeveral times post warranty I agreed to go the extra mile as a courtesy as the extended family are neighbors of the Auto Sales LotThis family has bought several cars from
me but I have severed ties with all parties related to this family and the neighbor b/c there are substance and alcohol issues involved

In regards to the complaint we feel we have gone above and beyond in refunding the full purcahse amount and have addressed the complaint with fairness

Good Morning,In response to the complaint filed by [redacted] and/or [redacted] we have issued a full refund on 04/18/2016 for the 2001 [redacted] with 91,000+ miles as was requested by [redacted] in a notarized letter. We are a repair shop that has been in the same location since...

1973 and have expanded our small used car dealership over the past 3 years, selling over 425 cars. With regards to the dealership we put careful inspection and consideration into every vehicle we purchase and sell. We work with customers if problems arise with any vehicle that we sell. In short we stand by our vehicles to the full extent of the MA Used Car Warranty. This vehicle was well within the 30 day warranty. Under the MA Used Car Warranty, the customer would pay a $100.00 deductible for any needed repairs. After several phone calls [redacted] disclosed to [redacted], the owner, that her former husband did not apporve of the vehicle, and/or was not pleased with the vehicle that she purchased with or for her daughter. [redacted] decided it was in the shop's best interest to issue a full refund for the purchase price and step out of any family issues that were putting our reputation in the middle. We have reinspected the vehicle in question and it remains a quality used car. We provide the service of a MA Inspection sticker and find that the majority of customers appreciate this service. We are not affliated with any shops where MA Inspection are performed. We are always willing to drop off any vehicle being purchased to a local repair shop for full inspection before purchase as do we also provide the VIN# of the vehicle for the customer to do their own research of the history of the vehicle.

inspection. [redacted] insisted on taking the vehicle with her that day. She then made her own decision to attach her old license plates to drive the vehicle home. As she was leaving we reminded her that the vehicle had no insurance and was not registered and could not be driven legally. Returning to our shop for the state inspection would allow us to confirm that there were no problems with the vehicle and the vehicle would pass inspection. Numerous weeks later we received a phone call from [redacted] stating that the vehicle wouldn't pass inspection and that she had gone to another dealer to have the vehicle repaired and was asking for a refund of 1987.32. When asking her why she never returned back to the shop to allow the seller of the vehicle to take care of the repairs she stated that she could not bring the car, which was strange to hear because numerous mechanics had been driving the vehicle for weeks prior to the sale with no problems at all. The correct action taken should have been to return the vehicle with whatever problems it had and we would have taken responsibility for them and fix the car.

It is clear that the dealer is quick to make up lies. He never told me to return the car for inspection or to see if there were any problems. When I returned with my down payment his mechanic was already switching the plates on my vehicle and I was told I had 10 days to transfer the plates and insurance to the new vehicle. At no time did he ever suggest that I register the vehicle and return. Which I did within 2 days. The fact of the matter remains that the vehicle he sold me was in serious disrepair and needed costly repairs which he knew existed. My request for repayment of these repairs is very reasonable as the circumstances surrounding this deal are well suited for litigation. In an attempt to avoid this I am simply requesting the cost of the repairs that needed to be made in order to have the vehicle in the condition the dealer represented it was in to me.It is disheartening to see a business create lies and avoid responsibility for their disgraceful practices. My demand for the cost of the repairs still stands.
Regards,
[redacted]
