WE WENT TO THE MEXICAN RESTAURANT LA QUEBRADA LOCATED AT ***-*** SOUTH CALIFORNIA AVE CHICAGO IL SAT FEB 16, 2020. THIS RESTAURANT WAS RECOMMENDED.
WE ASK OUR WAITRESS THE PRICE OF FOOD BEFORE WE ORDER. SHE TOLD US THE TACO DINNER QUOTED 6.99 CHARGE US 12.00, THE BURRITO DINNER QUOTED 6.99 CHARGE 9.00, ONE TACO QUOTED 1.99 CHARGE 3.25, RICE QUOTED 1.99 CHARGE 2.50, CAN COKE QUOTED 1.25 CHARGE 2.25 DID NOT GET PRICE FOR THE GUACAMOLE WAS 3.00. TOTAL BILL WAS ABOUT INCL TAX WAS ABOUT 38.00?????
THAT BILL DID NOT MATCH THE PRICES QUOTE. WE WERE SHOCK!! I ASK WHY PRICE CHANGE? I ASK TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER.
THE WAITRESS TOLD ME SHE WAS THE MANAGER AND THE PRICES IN THE CASH REGISTER HAD NOT BEING CHANGE TO MATCH THE MENU????? WHAT!!! THE RESTAURANT WAS FULL OF PEOPLE ALL BEING CHARGE ERRONEOUS PRICES. WOW.
THE WAITRESS APOLOGIZE THEN GAVE 20% DISCOUNT = 6.40 DISCOUNT; THATS 5.99 FOR THE TACO DINNER INSTEAD OF THE 12.00. OUR BILL WITHOUT TAX SHOULD HAVE BEEN ABOUT 22 DOLLARS. NONE OF THE OTHER QUOTED PRICE WERE CHANGE.
WE WERE EVENTUALLY CHARGE $28.22 WHICH WAS STILL OVER THE QUOTED PRICES. SEE COPY OF RECPT.

I am emailing in behalf of La Quebrada Restaurant in regards to case number ***.Customer Doris, claims she visited our establishment on February 16, 2020 and was provided with inaccurate quotes of our menu items. In her statement, Doris mentions she spoke to the manager at La Quebrada. I am the manager at La Quebrada and I do not remember this case. While I have reasons to believe this is a false claim, I am willing to provide scenarios where there might have been some confusion.La Quebrada Inc, had several locations and it could be possible that she filed the complaint toward the wrong location. I recently became aware that there is an old version of our menu online and am working on resolving this issue. Because of this, the version of our menu found online does not reflect our current prices. If the customer had placed an order over the phone, I can see how this could have been an issue as she would have been viewing incarnate prices.However, the customer explains she dined in. I am having trouble understanding why there was a need to "receive a quote" for food items as prices are clearly stated on our physical menu. I am certain that even if she was told how much each item was by one of our servers, she would have received accurate information as part of our server training requires them to know what each menu item is, what it includes and how much it costs. To resolve this issue, the client seeks an explanation from management and reimbursement for the difference in price for what she was quoted. The refund she is requesting is $6 and I am willing to provide those to her, need be. If she would like to speak to the manager at La Quebrada she can also always pay us a visit and request to speak to Joseline ***.Please let me know if there is anything else you need from me, thanks!Best,Joseline ***.

Joseline ***, PLEASE JUST LOOK AT THE RECEIPT LOCATION. LOOK AT THE CORRECTED RECEIPT IT WAS YOUR LOCATION CALIFORNIA AND 51ST STREET CHICAGO, ILLINOIS. YOU CANT DENY THE TRUTH OF YOUR OWN RECEIPT. CAN YOU?
I WONT COME BACK TO THIS BUSINESS.
