La Quinta Inn and Suites - Pueblo

Firstly, I've never before felt compelled to leave a negative review for anything
I called to reserve a room for a friend in needI asked what tonight's rates were, and I was told $/ nightI provided payment information, and reserved the room in my friend's name
Minutes later I receive a confirmation email for the wrong dateI called to adjust the reservation, and was informed the new rate is $I explained their mistake to the agent, and he wouldn't budgeThe manager reviewed the recording of the original conversation, verified what I said, but would not honor the rate promised
I asked that he cancel the reservation, but would not do soEven though he just reviewed the recording of me making the reservation, he said my friend would need to cancel the reservation
Very Frustrating!
