Almost all of the employees here at the Ventura, CA location go out of their way to make sure that you feel like a valued customer I have never stayed at a hotel where I felt so comfortable and well taken care of The front desk is friendly, helpful and make you feel appreciated The housekeeping staff isn't the best but there is one woman there that almost makes up for the rest When she cleans your room she goes over and above If you are staying for a while, you might as well wait for her to clean your room because otherwise it won't seem like it was cleaned at all The location is clean and comfortable, the pool and hot tub are nice I had to stay at this location for longer than planned and they all made my stay a very pleasant experience

I stayed in la quinta in [redacted] ,New Jergey on 11.25- That day we arrived early to check in for getting good room That front desk lady answered me they fill in the the lower story first ,when I asked to her give me a higher floor So we got 4th floor ,there are trafiic road in front of that building we need to keep close the window and cutain But that is fine I thought ,cause we have a kids,may they don't want a give us a higher floor(kids noise) But next morning there are tons of water were leeking from upstairs and we couldn't use our bathroom in the morning ,even elevator was out of order We need to use the stair with kids and luggage This is my first stay in la Quinta It was so bad experience with them

We rented rooms for nights and this was our first and last stay at a LaQuintaSeveral of our friends stayed at the Hyatt next door for about $night in a much newer and nicer hotel This is a very old hotel and it showsThe bathtub had water under the floor of the tub which you could feel and hear when you stepped into the tub like a waterbed The shower heads are fixed and can't move It took at least 20-minutes for the tub to drain, so the next person had to wait for the tub to drain to shower or bathe The double beds are not "Queen" beds and are actually just full size bedsThere are rooms with only around chairs for breakfast which doesn't start until am You can imagine how long it took for a party of to eat the meager breakfast with nearly every item including coffee being emptyAs a result, we had to go to IHop for breakfast with a lot of extra expense morning due to time constraints

Recently we stayed a week at the La Quinta in*** on*** Trail Here is our disappointing review:
People staying one night only may feel it's an okay spot, but daily cleaning is not done: floors, bathroom, nothing Fridge was filthy on outside, years of ice buildup inside, broken shelves Floors/carpets look like they've never been cleaned, with piles of debris & hair (pet?) in corners & under furniture Made quite a show of cleaning the breakfast room though
Helpful staff but not given proper cleaning equipment or required to minimum cleaning done expected of motels Internet computer breaking down frequentlly & non-guests using (friends of cleaners it seemed) Inadequate bathroom supplies despite paying for guests, regularly supplies only for one Old food served (boiled eggs with broken shells served, stale, green inside, All this for $200/night?! Confirmed my rule to avoid places that allow PETS (I've owned a dog, but never had allergy troubles in Florida before Suspect the carpet & bedding...?

I ordered rewards cards Oct 21st to give as gifts for ChristmasWas told cards went to another person and that person will send them to meHow could they NOT take responsibility and send me my earned cards, and have the supposed person send them the cards ????? I am a very upset Elite member
Go to Choice hotels, they send cards in two weeks

We stayed at laquinta in garland txFound a bed bug in the bed showed the front desk lady she said orkan bug company and been out prior but they never told us this upon registrationThe front desk lady put the bug in a ziploc bagWe decided to leave and we asked for a refund we also asked xxxxx who also worked the front desk to write up a receipt saying we would be refunded and he said he refused to write us anything and became very confrontational as you can see in a video I tookHe also felt the need to flip me the birdWe ended up having to call the policeWe will be filing a report

I am in a LaQuinta as I am writing The only reason I am still here is my son is getting married and we rented the suite for two nites When we checked in they gave us a key and we went to our room and it had never been cleaned, housekeeping did come in, but we should never have been sent to the room with desk clerk knowing room was not cleaned Went to sit on sofa ,which is a cheap piece of junk, and it is so worn and filthy, I got a sheet from housekeeping and made a slip cover., no way we were going to sit on that filth.under desk you can see it has been a long time since it has seen a vacuum No batteries in Remote and filter was out of air conditioner laying on top so dirty surprised air con workedToilet did not flush properly and when we called front desk they did not seem surprised, maintenance came up and repairedWe have stayed in several lovely La quintas in New Mexico, Kentucky and Arlington and Greenville tx They were all quality hotelsThis one in McKinney is almost comparable to motel We are so embarrassed to have our family arrive from out of state tomorrow and come to this awful hotelWe will never ever stay At a la quinta again it is obvious it is no longer a decent hotel, but a third rate hotel

When I first started staying at La Quinta Inns (XXXX) they were very competitively priced, you were able to stay at one of their hotels for under $and your pet could stay without any extra chargeDuring our recent travels (XXXX) we stopped at several La Quinta Inns in several states, because they advertise the lowest rates for Military Service Members to include Retirees, I'm here to tell you that is a bunch of liesWe could not get a room for two (2) adults and a small pet starting at $I asked about their advertisement about giving the Military the Lowest rate and I was informed that there are only a number of rooms (which they did not tell how many of those rooms) set aside for Military Rate and when they are used, they will charge you what they want and if your fool enough to pay those out ragest prices, it's on youAnother La Quinta Inn, in a city off the beaten path, was going to chare us over $120.00, because according to the clerk, they had booked several rooms to a club of some sort and now they need to charge the higher price to us to make up for the discounted rooms, YES she acutually said thatI will not be ripped off by a company, because they canLa Quinta thank you for trying to provide your lowest rate to an Retired Military Service Member, but was wise enough to know if they say something that sounds too good to be true, it's not trueLa Quinta Inns answer this question: If you reserve a block og rooms for a group and you give them a room rate of $a night, is that not the lowest rate that should be given to the Military Service Members? Because your advertise that you want to pay the Military back for providing you the freedom to charge these out ragest prices

I was staying at the Willowbrook, IL while between apartments, and homeschooling my children while there, happened to have a really bad rain storm during our stay, was told the following morning that we could not extend because they claimed that we took a shower with the curtain open, causing "extensive water damage" to the floors belowOh, and THEN, their corporate customer service decided to cancel the rewards accountNice to know that someone renting a room caused a rain storm that leaked through the ceiling/walls/whatever and was told that it was caused from taking a flipping shower!

The Laquinta inn in Midwest city, OK has the most horrible customer service/front desk personnel ever! Lousy attitude and then when you ask to speak with a supervisor she says their not available, to top things off I'm glad they refused my prepaid debit card because it didn't have a name on it because there was a mouse running across the floor! This is a fairly new hotel WOW! Never will I think of even making a reservation there!

Room smelled really musty when we got there. Manager tagged a huge charge for nothing. We tried to talk to him, but he still over-charged us. Food was fair but free, patio table by pool had glass broken, staff was unfriendly and the manager was rude.
If you're staying in[redacted], Texas, avoid the La Quinta!! We will never stay there or probably any La Quinta again.

The housekeeping staff isn't the best but there is one woman there that almost makes up for the rest. When she cleans your room she goes over and above. If you are staying for a while, you might as well wait for her to clean your room because otherwise it won't seem like it was cleaned at all.
The location is clean and comfortable, the pool and hot tub are nice. I had to stay at this location for longer than planned and they all made my stay a very pleasant experience.

The WORST hotel experience I have ever had. The reception area staff I interacted with were unpleasant and rude. Two nights into my week long stay I woke up multiple times with strange insect bites. As the days went by I would have new bites. I believe it is either from fleas (they welcome pets to stay at the hotel) or spiders that were in the room I was staying in. It could also have been bed bugs but I am not certain. I asked for the sheets to be changed multiple times and I am not sure if they always were. It looked like the same bed was just made and not with fresh sheets. I will NEVER stay at this location or any other La Quinta.

I made a reservation in May for a Handicapped Room with a Refrigerator and Microwave for July 2nd thru July 6th at LaQuinta in San Antonio on IH 35 at Rittiman Rd. When we got there, we were assigned a Handicapped Room but it did not have a refrigerator or microwave. I called the front desk and he said the handicapped rooms no longer came with refrigerator or microwave. I explained my spouse takes medication that needs to be refrigerated. His response was he could move us to a smoking room on the second floor. I told him we are non-smokers and my spouse is handicapped and can not walk up a flight of stairs. I asked if he could move the microwave and refrigerator to the handicapped room and he said he couldn't because they were locked down. I asked to speak with the Manager and he said he was the Manager. I asked what other alternative he could suggest and he said for "me" to call LaQuinta 1- 800 phone number and see if there was another LaQuinta in San Antonio we could be transferred to. He said he would have to cancel my reservation and for "me" to make a new one. I called that number and was told there was a Handicapped Room available with Refrigerator and Microwave but we could only stay there for one night because they were booked. What were we suppose to do? Stay in our car the other 3 nights? Why did the other LaQuinta have a Refrigerator and Microwave since I was told by the Manager they were discontinued in handicapped rooms? My spouse was very upset and wanted to cancel our vacation and go back to Houston. I called around for other motel accommodations but I was given the same response. "We don't have anything available due to the Holiday Weekend". We ended up having an unexpected expense to the almost $400 we were already paying because we had to go out and buy our own Microwave and Ice Chest. Not to mention the time we lost looking for a store to purchase these items. This threw us off our vacation schedule.
Why wasn't I told amenities had been discontinued for handicapped rooms when I made my reservation. I made this reservation in May so everything would be in order. If I had been told, I would have gone somewhere else. I don't understand how LaQuinta would "Discontinue Amenities in Handicapped Rooms". That doesn't even make sense. Don't handicapped people desire the same amenities? Even more so? My spouse is a Handicapped Veteran and deserves better treatment.

I have been staying on and off for over 2 months in Miami as we are in between a renovation (very unplanned) and finishing our place in Gainsville FL. We have stayed 2 to 3 weeks straight at Miami facility before we were offered weekly rates, no real big savings. One afternoon at around 1:30pm after an all night drive from Gainsville, there was s pounding on door as if structure was burning and EMT's were at door, it was a young fellow from hotel for me to go sign since it was past noon, I've had two heart attacks and thought third one was here and yes, in a torrential downpour, still asleep and terrified went and I was very, very rude to the fellow for sure, manager came out and spoke to me, and my wife made sure I apologize to all I most profundifly did, even bought him dinner. Ever since then the three other times I've HAD to stay here other than 3 of the staff have been so below the standards of what an Innkeeper should provide from neglecting housekeeping duties, insulting, demeaning references, blaming a month old kitten of destroying a desk, sheets, even move a toilet bowl from its foundation, I was told by the manager on duty when we returned and I offered to pay for damages but, she said it was ok just watch the kitty. Before checking out I asked h/keeper to look for damages she couldn't so called her supervisor for a look, she walked 2 feet into room and with the most vile gesture and words turned back and left. I returned tonight, checked in and after we settled in about an hour later we were told to move to a room commensurate with our Kittie's evil side, the Gen/Manager told me your cat tears all my furniture, its my hotel and my rules, take it or leave it now. So we will leave, try to get our money back and pray A/C starts cooling soon. The room we were put in is by far the worst positioned unit in the complex, its, moldy, smells horrible and I feel I would spend my money were its appriciated. I use Quinta Inn for long time, this one never, ever again. PS I really want to buy the ruined toilet or at least see it !!

Review: This hotel double-book rooms so they can increase their revenue, even on "guaranteed" rooms.On 10/26/13, we had a pre-paid, guaranteed room at this hotel. This hotel room was book through a 3rd party vendor hotel.com. Upon arrival, the desk clerk stated that our room had been given away even though it was pre-paid. Here are the specifics of the incident:1.It was a busy night in the NOLA area, and hotel rooms were scarce, so they profited from giving our rooms away to others willing to pay more.2.They did this to at least 3 other guests trying to check-in at the same time we did.3.Because they had rooms in demand, they good charge more money to walk-ins that were looking for a room instead of the guest that pre-paid on bookings sights, like us and the other guests.4.The hotel did not call, email or contact us in anyway to inform us before our arrival.The General Manager is Mr. [redacted]?Front Desk Manager is Mr. [redacted]This is unacceptable.Desired Settlement: I would like to see what the hotel will do in the future to prevent this from happening. I will be submitting formal complaints to their corporate office and await that response.Giving away a pre-paid room, and no advanced phone call to warn that there is a "problem", is not the way you conduct business. This is the same as price gouging, as we as the quests could do nothing to prevent you from charging the higher fares to others, to increase your revenue.
