La Sposa Elegant Bridal Boutique

I recently encountered the worst a Bride can encounter without a wedding dress thru La Sposa Elegant Bridal Boutique. I had ordered my IVORY wedding dress 1 yr prior to my upcoming wedding this Aug. La Sposa called to inform me that my dress had come in, this was the beginning of June, I told them I'd be in about 2 wks. I called 1 week after to schedule a fitting, no problem they said, see you then! I go on a Monday with my Mother to pick up the dress as I had found someone else to do alterations and with the reviews they had on their site, I wasn't going to risk my dress not being properly altered. We walk in and it took them 15 mins to "find my dress and head piece", as the woman proceeded to bring a WHITE dress down to me, I looked at my Mom and we both said, that isn't my dress, my dress is IVORY. The woman looks at me and says, "Oh, someone called and changed it to White". I looked in disbelief knowing she was lying to my face, I said, SOMEONE called you? Who?! By now, I had tears in my eyes and I was upset, I asked again and she said, I don't know. I worked with this woman specifically in the dressing room and STRESSED and made sure the order form had IVORY, we had the copy of the receipt, which I asked her to show me, which she said, Oh have to go find it and your headpiece", she comes back with the word IVORY crossed out and white written on her copy of the order form. My Mother then looked at her and said Who are you kidding, we ordered IVORY and you had this dress for how long and didn't tell my daughter when she called that you messed up the order and now you can't own up to it and are blaming us, nobody called you because my daughter is the only one who would have and you didn't even document who "supposedly" called you or called her to ask if that was correct? We know you're lying to us, so what can you do to make this right? I was now in disbelief and literally freaking out! The woman proceeds to tell us that we can take this dress and she'd do alterations for Free, I looked at her and said NO, that is what you expected us to do, take it cause I don't have any other choice, right? No, you need to reorder my dress is what I told her and she said we can't, it takes over 3 mths, I told her, well, rush it on your expense. She said they couldn't, mind you the entire time she had not said I'm sorry, but proceeded to say well you can have the sample ivory dress and we'll give you alterations for free. I was Livid by that, I looked at her and said would YOU wear a used dress that has been tried on by others for your wedding? She didn't reply, mind you I held up the sample dress her sister brought and showed her how tattered the sample was with frays in the material. I told them to refund us 100% of the money, she continued to say that I could pick any ivory dress off the rack with them giving us alterations for free. I was beyond livid at this point and crying, I told them if you don't refund us I am calling my lawyer to have this resolved. I am out a dress with less than 5 wks before my wedding and now I have to go and start all over, is this how you treat your customers?! I work in customer service and would never treat anyone in this manner. I ended up walking out to have my Mom deal with the matter. After 15 mins of them trying to convince her to have me pick another dress, which I would NOT DO, they agreed to credit her. We are awaiting to see if the credit comes thru.
