PURSHASED FROM *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** PHONE# ###-###-####THIS PARTICULAR RUG WAS NINE YEARS OLD WHEN IT WAS BROUGHT TO US FOR CLEANINGTHIS PERSON IS MISSGIDING BY GIVING THIS INFORMATION TO YOU, WE HAVE NEVER BEEN UNWILLING TO REPAYARE ATTEMPT TO SETTLE THIS SITUATION HAS BEEN UNSUCCESSFULTHIS ITEM IS NINE YEARS OLD THE DEPRECIATION ACCORDINGLY IS 10% ANUALLYTHE RESIDUAL VALUE ON THE RUG IS $EIGHTY DOLLARSWE HAD SENT $AS A SIGN OF GOOD FAITH, WHICH IS FOUR TIMES MORE THAN THE RESIDUAL VALUEWE MAILED PAYMENT IN A CERTIFIED LETTER ON NOVEMBER 14TH IT WAS RETURNED TO SENDER UNCLAIMED ON DECEMBER 11,INCLUDED IS A PICTURE OF THE RUG

There is no way to replace a rug of this value for $350. I think it is only fair that we get $500 for an $800 rug that was hardly ever walked on. George new exactly the condition the was in, as he check it in when he didn't tag it correctly. It was perfect. It was authentic. I just spoke to a rug specialist who stated these type of rugs to not loose value as they age. If anything they get more valuable. I never received any kind of certified check or letter or any kind of response from La Unica Cleaners. There was no notices left in my mailbox nor on my front door to let me know of a certified letter. I would have been at the post office immediately. As I have not been getting any response what so every from anything I have done so far.This Revdex.com letter is the first time a have received any response from George at the La Unica dry cleaners on Cerrillos rd. In Response to Mr. L[redacted] latest letter to the Revdex.com. From 01/17/2017 As Mr. L[redacted] is well aware of, the rug was recently, in January of 2016 put down in a spare room that is never used. The dog kennel was stored in the room as you can plainly see as the picture and had measurements on it to be put up for sale. Since the rug was newly put down, I was not used to it being in the room, and I tripped on it spilling some coffee on it. I was worried that sugar from the coffee would attract moths to the rug, as I was warned when the rug was purchased to keep it clean. Regardless of the placement of this rug in my house, which is really none of Mr. L[redacted] business, I was not the one who was careless and lost a valuable rug. This rug needs to be replaced with something of equal value. The rug IS a valuable Persian rug that was basically brand new when it was put down. Even though it is thought to be about 10 years old, l have been told by 3 different rug professionals in Santa Fe, who said the older a rug of this nature is, the more valuable it becomes, this type of rug does NOT depreciate. Mr.L[redacted] said, when he was unable to locate the rug to wait for them to find it. And to check back in a few weeks. I called several times, Mr L[redacted] would never return my calls. I went down to his store may times to try to speak with him. I was patient and kept being put off and told that they wanted to look for it. I did this because I really just wanted my rug back. And didn’t get an offer of re-placement until June. This is when I was told that he would check with his insurance to see what he should do next. Then he offered to pay $300 to $350. I told him this wasn’t acceptable. I have gone to some stores and priced similar rugs and I am unable to replace it for this amount. Mr.L[redacted] told me that I could replace the rug at "Jackalope Pottery" which does not sell this quality of Persian rug. 1 really felt insulted and it was obvious at this point that he realty didn't care about customer service. (SEE ATTACHED)I am requesting $500 so that I may replace my rug with the same type and quality of the one that he lost. Or I will be going to Small Claims Court for the entire amount I paid for the rug of $800 plus court fees! I was unable to respond to the initial complaint within the time allotted due to the passing of my mother. Please re-open my case! Please see attached documents for the rest of the information on this letter. Due to the closing of my case my response didn't fit!
