Needed clearance for a wall-a-way recliner will very slightly by styles. I checked this particular style and a minimum of 6" is required. The distance will need to be checked from time to time due to migration of the chair to move back with use. I would like to offer
repairs to the chair for the incurred damage from misquoted clearance needs. The easiest way to set the distance is to place the chair in full recline position, move chair 1" from the wall and it's set. Once I receive an approved reply of offer, I will order a complete back upholstered which can be direct shipped to the client's residence.
