Dear Complaint Handler,  This is in response to a complaint ID [redacted]. Dated 8/14/2015. I find inaccuracies in the complaint written. The customers' orders were submitted correctly. However, their complaining started when a server (not their server) picked up their finished salad plates and...

they stated their dinners were taking a long time. I was advised and checked the time of the ticket and it was 19 minutes. I saw their server and informed her of their concern and she stated she just brought the dinners out. The dinners are freshly cooked, cooked to order and certainly were delivered in an appropriate time. The server (who had frequented their table) later stated (they were at least half way done) that one in the party complained about their lasagna not having enough meat and wanted to see the menu. He was bothered by the fact the fact that the menu stated, "plenty of meat." At this point I approached the table which was located in a back dining room where no other tables were seated. I asked what the problem was and a discussion occurred regarding "plenty" of meat. I stated that there was most definitely plenty of meat and I asked if he was looking for excessive meat. When I asked what he wanted he stated, "I wanted plenty of meat." The cost of the lasagna is $11.95 with quality ingredients served in a casserole boat. It also includes a fantastic salad, consisting of mixed greens, tomatoes, carrot, peppers, onions, mozzarella cheese and croutons, and garlic bread. The value for the dollar, the quality and quantity is outstanding. Both customers consumed their entire dinners. At this pointI did not offer a discount and was not going to offer a discount. I remained firm. Hostile? Abusive? Ridiculous. Also, regarding the added complaint that the food was too hot. I am stunned. Again, fresh food, freshly cooked, coming out of an oven. Did he want it cold? I simply did not give into them wanting something for nothing as clearly evident in their complaint. After speaking with the server it appeared that the customer has had lasagna made by a family member that contained many items. I really don't know what that is, but ours like most, lasagna does contain plenty of meat. Many lasagnas contain no meat. Possibly they are simply not familiar with Italian lasagna. Later in the evening the person who submitted the complaint (not the person who actually ate the lasagna) left a negative comment on social media and bantered with their wonderful, server in a derogatory fashion There were three servers on the evening in question and not one server offered to pay for their meals. A matter of fact after I left their table and two customers in the front dining room commented that the "complainers" were getting loud and they couldn't believe what their complaint consisted of. It is unfortunate that they turned what should have been a wonderful meal into a bad experience for themselves. There will be no refund for two people who certainly enjoyed their delicious food. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.  I am taking this to the media. We waited more than 19 minutes for our food. This is becoming ridiculous. They are very incompetent and ignorant. They need to not copy and paste the same response. I have on full audio recording her yelling at us when we were giving feed back on her food which they should expect if a customer isn't happy with what they ordered. He only ate it because you never offered to make a new one you faught and got very heated. We don't want anything free. I could care less about what you have to say. Again it's not right for how she responded and I will be broad casting exactly what happened  to the media because the story she is copying over and over is inaccurate. I hope that they hey can learn respect and maybe be taught to handle feed back on the food they serve no matter if it's too hot. With no meat or even if there was hair in the food. I would hate to see how they would treat someone if a hair was found. I'm sure she would blow up way more. My apologies that they can't own up for there actions.  Regards,  Mr. [redacted]

I AM NOT OK WITH HOW SHE TREATED US. SHE WAS YELLING AT US BECAUSE WE MADE A COMMENT ABOUT HER FOOD AND THE MISS TYPE IN HER MENU. SHE SHOULD CHANGE IT FROM PLENTY TO NONE INCLUDED. THE WAY SHE REACTED TOWARDS MY PARTNER AND I WAS SO INAPPROPRIATE!!!!!!!! WE ONLY GOT LOUD BECAUSE SHE WAS GETTING LOUD AT US. AND HER STATING WE WERE TRYING TO GET SOMETHING FOR "FREE" IS A WRONG STATEMENT! WE NEVER MENTIONED WE WANTED IT FOR FREE WE ONLY COMMENTED ON THE LACK OF MEAT. IF SHE CANNOT HANDEL FEED BACK ON HER FOOD THEN SHE IS IN THE WRONG BUSINESS!!! NO MANAGER OR MANAGERS WIFE SHOULD RESPOND IN THE INCOMPETENT WAY SHE DID. AND CORRECTION THE WAITRESS WE INFORMED ABOUT THE ISSUE WAS OUR ORIGINAL WAITRESS!!! WE TOLD HER AS SOON AS MY PARTNER HAD A FEW BITES AND NOTICED!!!! PLEASE LET ME PLAY SOME ONE THE RECORDING. I AM REJECTING WHAT SHE IS SAYING. IF I NEED TO GO FURTHER WITH THIS MATTER I WILL. I WILL BRING THE RECORDING TO THE NEWS CHANNELS AND WHO EVER I NEED TO, TO SHOW HOW THEY TREAT PEOPLE. LASTLY, IF YOU READ THE REVIEWS ON THERE PLACE OF BUSINESS I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE WHOSE HAD A SIMILAR EXPERIENCE.  Regards,  [redacted]
