Contracted workers did not have the skills represented. After requesting 1 skilled carpenter, 1 carpenters apprentice and 1 helper for a 1 week job the individuals sent were not qualified to do the work. I provided a VERY detailed statement of work and each of the workers complained they were not told about the type of work, the duration of the job nor the working conditions. The crew changed daily and each change was a less skilled person. Basic instructions could not be followed and basic skills were lacking for both the skilled and semi-skilled positions. The workers sent could not be left alone, as they would immediately stop working. The one time I did leave the job extreme profanity was reported and excessive complaints about the "office" for underpay and no communication about the job requirements or work they were being assigned.Desired SettlementAdjustment of billing to unskilled labor rate of all positions and no charge for 8 hours (2 persons x 4 hours) of time that these two workers did not follow detailed instructions and wasted construction materials.Business Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted] GMContact Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXXContact Email: [redacted]@laborfinders.comThere is insufficient information for me to be able to determine if we have done business with this person. I would need to know the name of the company, and where the work was performed in order to give a correct response. So far I have not found any information by using the name listed on the complaint. This makes me wonder if the individual used [redacted] and NOT Labor Finders. You may contact me by phone if you are able to supply more information about the individual filing the complaint and we will be more than happy to investigate.Final Business Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted]-PresidentContact Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXXOur Raleigh Assistant Manager called the Branch manager and asked her what to do with regard to calls she was receiving from our employees that were working for this person. The last day the employees worked on this job site all [redacted] broke loose and the customer was calling our workers "[redacted]" and "[redacted]". Our workers called the office and said the customer was cursing at them and using racial slurs toward the African American workers and also trying to get the semi-skilled worker and the laborer to hang and finish drywall. The semiskilled worker and the laborer do not know how to hang and finish drywall and the assistant manager explained that to the customer. She also told him that he was setting himself up for failure if he is trying to get workers that aren't skilled to do skilled work. She actually heard the customer on the phone cursing at the workers when he didn't know his cell phone had automatically answered her call in his pocket. As the branch manager I told her to pull them off of the job site right then being that she actually heard them being verbally abused and go to see the customer. All our employees had already left the job site by the time she got there. This was on Thursday. I returned to work the following Monday and called the customer to see if I could get any additional information. He has never returned my call. The assistant manager said none of his Revdex.com complaint is true but rather the customer had told her how great the skilled carpenter was. He was sent and used the same skilled worker every day and said he was great until after we pulled them from the job.Now he says he wasn't after they were pulled from the job for his verbal abuse and racial slurs, and trying to utilize workers to do work they weren't qualified for. Some customers will attempt this because it saves them money as their bill rate for unskilled and semiskilled workers is less than paying for a skilled individual that actually knows how to do what is required. Additionally in the customers complaint he indicated the workers stopped working the minute he left. The problem with this is as a customer he is legally required to supervise our employees at all times for safety reasons and quality of work reasons, so again, this customer has violated yet another of our contractual obligations that he agreed to in our account terms. We will not only not refund this customer a dime but we will never service a person like this again if for no other reason than using racial slurs and cursing at our employees.
