I'm extremely disappointed after purchasing a townhome from Pioneer Homes at Harbor Springs in Palm HarborAfter Pioneer Homes turned over the development to the homeowners our community is still left with dumpster ruts in the asphalt road, stains in the road from construction vehicles, cracked sidewalks with potholes, construction litter, dead trees and sod, and iron stains on the sidewalks from an irrigation well that should have been drilled deeperWe have also been left with a drainage system that doesn't work properly and is weakening a retaining wallAll these issues remain despite being promised by Pioneer that they would be corrected when the last home was completedIn addition, Pioneer claims to provide a one year warrantyHowever, it is applied at its discretionThis is a dishonest company that promises everything, but ultimately fails to deliver once they have your moneyBuyer beware if considering a purchase from Pioneer Homes!!
IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING TO BUILD WITH PIONEER HOMES READ THIS because this is how you can expect to be treated:
Pioneer homes has THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICEIt took months to build my house, so if you were looking to build with them and they tell you it will take months, don't believe them! Also don't believe them when they tell you that they warrantee their work for year- which is standard with a brand new home They drag their feet to repair things with in that one year period of time probably hoping that you will give up and they won't have to fix the problem
They put the wrong color roof on and all they said was "oh we are sorry but you're going to have to deal with it!" When I told him I wasn't happy about that they said that they would put a vinyl flooring in for me to say they are "sorry." In turn what I got was the cheapest and poorest quality vinyl flooring which has multiple rips tears and indentations along with being able to see the trowl marks from the glue that was used to lay the floor
The grass was also extremely poor quality and installed after the sod farms were having trouble from the flooding after the hurricane Irma last yearThey did not roll the side so there are multiple holes that have yet to fill in months later which I have twisted my ankle in while walking my dog
The door jams and doors were all set up higher because nobody communicated that I was going to be getting vinyl instead of carpet and tile therefore they shoved a bunch of caulking to fill the gap between my vinyl floor and where the door jams are leaving white residue on the floor which had not been able to be removed
I have drywall nails popping through the wall which I asked to be repaired about to months ago and have yet to be repaired
I am just completely disgusted with my homebuying experience considering that I paid a pretty penny for my home
