I have been dealing with this company for almost a year to resolve the following issues:
On the estimate I was told $560 was the cost of leaf screens and installation. When I received the invoice I had been charged an additional $303 for screens. This was not agreed upon. In addition, the
Estimate and Invoice state that I Purchased and acquired leaf screens from Costco. This did not occur. The company purchased and installed these. At this time my roof is buckling where they screwed the leaf screens to the roof. The company has seen the issues, but has not resolved them.
Also, there was problems with overflow of water on the garage immediately after installation. It took a total of 5 times of people coming over before the right side of the garage was fixed. The left side is still overflowing with water and has yet to be resolved.
Additionally, Estimate and Invoice list services of pairing on left side of home. This service was not completed until several times of me calling. When the guy came to install the metal piece it was not the right size. He tore up my shingles to put it in. On the way out he said "Well it's fixed but I don't know about your roof".

We are very sorry that *** is not satisfied with LaCamas Gutters. It is our goal for customer satisfaction. We have made every attempt to correct any issues she has had. We were waiting for the Covid-19 to end so the consultant for the leaf screen could go out to resolve the issue as we believed it was the product not the installation. We went ahead and replaced the leaf screen with a new leaf screen at no additional cost to ***.

The original invoice was just for the install of the leaf screen and customer was to purchase from Costco as stated. As for the added cost of $303 to her invoice we were asked to pick up the leaf screen for her at Costco instead of her picking it up.

I am rejecting this response because: When Ricky C came to my house to give me an estimate I was told that the $560 was to purchase and install the gutter screens. When I got the estimate in the mail I tried calling him about the fact that it said I would be purchasing the screens. I do not have a Costco card. I called his number, but it was disconnected. I called Ann Marie and was given the number (360) 909-7941. I left 4 messages that were never returned. I then called Ann Marie and talked to her about the estimate. She said she would relay the message to Ricky and take care of it. The work was completed and I paid the final bill in full. Unfortunately I did not immediately notice the $303 extra for screens. I thought that I was paying the total from the original estimate. I called and informed DeJay about the mistake and asked her to relay the message to the owner, again stating that I do not have a Costco card. I received no response.

One week later after installation it rained and the garage gutter overflowed. Originally, there was 2 downspouts on my garage. They removed these and replaced it with only 1. I continued to call and have it fixed. There was a total of four different employees that came to look at the problem. Finally, the owner came and replaced the leaf screen with a different brand on the garage only. This did not fix the problem on the side of the garage where they removed the downspout from. I asked about putting another downspout on the west side of the garage where they had removed the old one from. I was told I do not need one.

I have now noticed that on the east side of my house the gutters are bent out in several places and crooked. In my observation, it appears to have happened when they installed the leaf screens. I also feel that the leaf screens were installed incorrectly on my house.

To Whom it May Concern:We are very sorry that *** feels she has had a bad experience with LaCamas Gutters. We try our best to make everything right with every customer. With that said we feel we have done this with *** and gone beyond what we were suppose to. The complaint originally was with the back of the garage which has a flat roof and doesn't usually get screens. We wanted to help out so we installed them. As our invoice shows and she collaborated she didn't want to pay the $10 per foot for our industrial grade screen vs home owners. She talked to Ricky about options and he agreed to go purchase the screens at Costco as she didn't have a Costco card and it would save her money compared to the cost of ours. We didn't know the price of the leaf screen from Costco and that was why it wasn't added to the original estimate. The original estimate stated the cost to install not the cost of the product. If you look at Costco for three boxes which was needed this is approx. $100 per box.*** called due to moss issues on her garage, we brought both the supplier and the manufacturer of Costco screens to the job. She raved how good and nice everything was but the garage and all agreed it was good. The back of the garage was due to the flat roof and the product that was not designed for that because she didn't want to pay for the better screen. Due to covid we had to delay all which I know was very frustrating but we couldn't go against the government for something that was not going to cause major harm. We finally decided to upgrade her screen in the back to a better product for all her hastles at no cost to her. She now comes back to us about waves in her gutters. She choose aluminum gutters that due to nature will contract and expand and over time will find the right settlement.We are sorry she isn't 100% satisfied but at this time we have gone above and beyond to make sure we can do the best, giving her the free upgrade of screens on the back to solve the issue that was created by the choice to save money.Thanks,Steven G, Owner

I am rejecting this response because: It took me almost a year and many phone calls before Steve Gunter called me. When he called he had to ask me what company did the work since he has another company. He should have known.

Each time you respond you make it sound like I caused the problems. After 3 estimates I picked your company because it seemed like your employee made sure I understood everything. I did not pick the screens. There was not options. I had covers on my old gutters on the East and West side of my house, but none on my garage, only a spout protector to keep leaves from going down. If my garage shouldn't of had covers then that was something Ricky should have known and conveyed to me.

I did not pick the type of gutter either. Only the color. I asked for another down spout on my garage 4 times and I was told it didn't need it. It still overflows! I had another company give me a bid and it is going to cost me $150.00 to put one on.

On the estimate it says Pairing of Left Side of House. This work was not done originally. It states it only had to be 2X6. When your employee came to do the work he showed up with a piece of tin about 12X14. I thought that he would cut it to size, but instead he tore my shingles up, slid the whole piece under then glued the shingles down. I had a roofer come out and look at it and was told that the area might leak down my wall and it was in need of repair where the tin had been slid under.

This has overwhelmed me. I definitely would say do not ever use Lacamas Gutters Corp. With the $303.00 extra, $150.00 for the additional downspout and the repair needed on my roof it has now gone over what the estimate was and what I had budgeted to have the gutter done.
