First of all, private lessons are sold on a contract When we sell private lessons, the manager on duty goes over the contract and has the purchaser sign itAfter private lessons are purchased, the student then has months to schedule the lessons with the instructor of their choiceBoth on
our brochures and on the contract, it states there are no refunds and that lessons will expire in months whether they are used or not *** contacted us to complain that the coach she wanted was on vacation for the last week of August Because of this, we did, in good faith, extend the expiration dates of the lessons until January, AND added a 5th free lesson, since she did not know the instructor would be on vacation The contract states that if payment is returned, a $fee will be added; this is why she now owes us $ She never mentioned to me that she was "overcharged"; I looked into this and she was ($vs $126), so I am more than happy to adjust what she owes us from $to $I am attaching a copy of her contractThank-you,*** ***, Aquatics Director

After years of paying our monthly gym membership, we were treated like dirt and penalized when we provided notice that we were moving and ending our gym membership We reached out to the Manager (Nathan) who didn't address the issue The employee in question (Ross) had forgotten what he verbally told my husband-that the Club would consider June as the day notice but we'd still have to pay July's membership When my husband went to talk with Ross and let him know that July 31st would be our last day because we were moving over miles away, Ross told my husband he had no memory of the conversation and that we'd have to pay August and September Ross had also given my husband a hand written paper with his contact information in June If Ross had just admitted that he forgot the conversation and that we'd have to pay August and the Club would waive September, this would have been acceptable Instead, Ross told my husband he was lying and that we'd have to pay both August and September So my husband contacted his credit card and told them the August and September payments weren't authorized because we'd given the proper amount of notice Ross then searched the Club's records and charged my credit card, which hadn't been associated with our gym membership in over a year I definitely didn't authorize this transaction and find Ross' actions sneaky, deceptive and fraudulent This gym has been steadily going downhill ever since Denise bought it, but this really takes the cake Ross is also Denise's son-in-law, which may be a contributing factor to why Nathan didn't address the situation Regardless, Lacamas Swim and Sport is a neighborhood gym who has not done right by its members for years Go to *** or anywhere else besides Lacamas Swim and Sport

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:  First off I would have not even agreed to private lessons had the coach not contacted me several times the day before. With that said, I was very specific that I wanted our 4 lessons to be done BEFORE the start of the school year. The coach agreed.  We had agreed to do lessons that Thursday, Friday, Saturday and the following Saturday. The coach never mentioned his vacation until after the fact. They did have the coach call me and offer 1 extra lesson and give us until January to use them. This was unacceptable as I wanted them done before school. It is mind boggling that this facility feels in the course of a 5 minute window, they have the right to keep my money when services could not be rendered as agreed upon.  I was not aware of any contract signed as I was out of town at the time. [redacted]  is not of legal age as she is 14 years old. I did agree orally when the coach contacted me about private lessons. My children have been on several swim teams and have never encountered one with such poor management. We can not even get a receipt when we make payments to our swim meet accounts nor have any access to it. I did ask  management if I could apply the money to my daughters account since they could not do the lessons before school started. That was an easy fix for me. We didn't get the lessons, but the money could pay for [redacted]'s swim meet fees. I was told no to this option. I tried to give the facility ways to make this fair, but they have continually told me no. .  Sincerely,[redacted]
