Regarding complaint ID [redacted] We worked hard to please this customer. We returned this customer's paymentWe returned the products this customer shipped usThis customer seems to have made it clear that we have been unable to satisfy this particular customer's expectations (as we stated before) so we are unable to provide the special order this customer desires We have however (as stated before) provided this customer with a list of our competitors that we hope may be able to provide what we cannot. The additional expectations this customer has enumerated in the last response (like us finding a vendor for this customer that can do what we can't) are not services we offer, and we are not interested in expanding our business model to include these services at this time.We do however offer a wide variety of quality (meet the expectations of almost all customers) products at a very reasonable price Joe B***Laces For Less

RevDex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. Regards, [redacted] But I would like to clarify some things though I accepted his answer. As mentioned before he started ignoring me and never contacted me until I contacted you. He ignored my emails and 2 phone calls. This problem wouldn't have gotten this far if he let me know something. However after I sent him the very last email that I will file a complaint against him, that is when he emailed me agreeing to work with me. He did come out to the house where I dug around my surveyors stake and we did some measuring which determined that the fence was on the property line but he don't need to be eliminating information to make me look like the villain either. I kept all of the emails between us where I can prove he totally ignored me until I contacted you. He don't seem to get it. [redacted] ***

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *** and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.RE: LACES FOR LESS 6/23/17Dear *** ***,Here is my side of the story:I had been dealing with this Company for approxyears & never had any problem until last September when I ordered over the telephone one pair of Athletic Slaces that were made different lengths that was intentionally initiated by myself The first one (one lace from that pair) was too short Then I telephoned in & a replacement was provided by the same employee (Tim M***) & the length was still the exact same Then I made another telephone call (this time to the Owner- Joe B***) & he stated on that telephone call “We will measure it when it returns to us” & it was in transit at the time I made another subsequent telephone call to the same Owner (contact 3) & he then told me an entirely different story- “We do not have to measure it this time” (I assume because Attempt #was on us (both the parts & labor) So he went against himself in Contacts & He then stated it would probably be best for me to send you the Athletic Slaces & Aglets via the US Mail (which he did so) & have someone else shorten them as well as putting on the Aglets (Shoe Tips) locally I was advised by the Owner last autumn to use Shoe Repair Stores in my area & I went thru 13-Businesses as well as 3-hours spent that was time wasted & none used a Dye Press Machine with heat & liquid solvent I also contacted 2-Slace Manufacturer’s that were online on my own accord which did not accept working on other Vendor’s Slaces from the outside that needed any type of alterations So I encountered multiple ‘Strike 3’s. After several months in May, I re-sent in the package (this time they were cut-off by me intentionally) & had explained this to them a few times but received no response on multiple occasions before but still sent in the package that was returned to me after contacting the Owner on Contact (total x’s, plus the other employee 1x) As far as sending in “existing” Slaces to be shortened & re-tipped that was approx90-95% of his previous Services to me & none ever encountered any previous problems whatsoever. What do I want to do now with this Business:If this Business does not desire to deal with me anymore, to have the Owner locate a Business (on his own accord) that deals with third party existing Slaces & uses a Dye Press Machine with heat & liquid solvent for the shortening & re-tipping I also was willing to pay for their error for them to re-take me back which they declined to do This Business also stated that “if we encounter any problems (just one) from any Customer regardless of how much previous time (years or whatever else), then we ask them to ‘move on’ Please check their website or invoices to see that can be verified in writing (requested by their customer as well as the Revdex.com)? If there is any negligence involved, I certainly would like to know? Plus, why wouldn’t they take me back if I could not locate anyone on my own for the two needed intangibles? That would be my Plan B (option 2) So I have completed my sideThanks. ** ***

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Problem: This Business gave me Parts & Accessories several months ago as part of being "barred" over a measurement issue which was not even supported in writing on his website or personal invoice which is described as doing "shady business" with a customer in which I lasted years.Desired Resolution: ReplacementDesired Outcome: The Plastic Aglet Hole Diameter was too wide at 3/16" ID + 1/64" wall thicknessI need replacement Plastic Aglets at 1/16"- 3/32" ID + 1/64" wall thicknessor Joe B*** (Owner) can send me a quantity of half & half of those just mentioned Hole Diameters (ID")If I receive this replacement part, I will call this a "done deal", even though the local Professional man that I obtained does not have a Dye Press Machine with heat & liquid solvent which makes the Plastic Aglet end-result perfect
Regards,
*** *** Message dated 9/9/2017:You can consider sending out this additional question to 'Laces for Less'- is I would appreciate a total of Orders of that requested replacement item(s) in the specific diameters, so I will not have to continue going back & forth with your Office If it is a quantity of Orders, then I can pay for the additional quantity He can invoice me directly for any extra amounts. The Owner of 'Laces for Less' requested that I not directly contact his store anymore.*** C***

I respectfully deny the allegations in Ms*** complaint to the Revdex.comMs*** paid me a retainer of $to research issues regarding her propertyI used the entire retainer in researchOnce I determined after my research that her property was not exactly at issue in how
she wanted to pursue, I contacted her via mail to let her know that we would not be able to pursue anything as she wishedHowever, I have since traveled out to Ms*** house to help clarify at my own expenseIn addition, since her filing of this complaint her issues regarding her property have been addressed by me and mostly resolvedI have received contact from Ms*** that she wishes to no longer pursue anything against me, as I have helped her as she initially asked of me at our meeting
If you need anything else from me please let me know

I apologize, but my original response dated 7/11/2017 remains.

In response to your request:------   Acknowledge customer concens:The specified customer needs to have very specific requirements met in order to be satisfied with the shoelaces he uses.------    State the facts as you see them.Laces For Less spent a lot of time and resources trying...

to provide a product that would meet the customer's needs.  So far, these efforts have been unsuccessful.   Thinking that another company might be able to satisfy the needs, we asked this customer (multiple times) to find and try another vendor that could satisfy his needs.  This does not appear to have helped either.  The customer has stated that he considers our efforts to be pushing him and has decided he wants to "push back" and that seems to have resulted in a complaint to you.  This customers latest payment was returned (not wrong address as he said) to him, and the package we received from him was returned also, per his request.------  Explain the actions you can and can't take to resolve the concerns. We feel we are not capable of satisfying this customer's needs with the skills and equipment we have, so we feel we are not the best vendor to help this customer.  We are very willing to provide this customer with another list of our competitors that might be able to accomplish what we have not been able to do.  This customer is not "banned" as he says.I do find it interesting that the other places that this customer says he approached to get help appears to have done very little to try and help, but he complains about the one company that made a lot of effort to help him.Joe B[redacted]Laces For Less

RE: REPLY 3This is totally unacceptable from the Merchant for the following reason(s):01) If a Merchant returns any payment or parts so I can seek other Vendor's Services for Labor- he should include the Referrals in addition to my returned items (providing I cannot locate anyone on my own).  He gave me a list but that list did not meet my specific needs 100%.  Therefore, in my opinion, he needs to take the next step up on his own to provide referrals on his own accord which he did not.  The returned payment & parts go 'hand in hand' with EXACT Referrals.  I think I can get what I want when 'moving on'.02) The Merchant failed to provide any type of evidence showing that there was an error in judgement on my behalf dealing with the either lace measurement especially with Attempt #2 from his co-worker- Tim M[redacted] whom worked on my case.  Incidentally, Tim M[redacted] did not know specifically how to do some previous work (which were his words over the telephone).03) As of 10/2016, this Merchant has failed to support his verbal claims (ie: if we have any one problem with any customer, we will ask them to move on) & this would be supported in writing either on his Website or Invoice & was not.  If this Owner wants to use honesty on this issue & make any type of reply on this, he will agree with me.  But I also do not have any control on exactly what goes on after that point in time either.04) I'm extremely disappointed with Joe B[redacted]'s decision to terminate me after 10 years of solid Business.  He has very questionable & unusual Business policies & needs to communicate more clearly *especially when dealing with any new customer.  That tells the complete picture right here.05) The remaining thing is to place this case on an unresolved status, thus closing this case (from your end).[redacted](former customer- Laces for Less)
