Review: I went to LaCoste Hair Designs to get a cut & color by an experienced hairdresser & was given an appointment with [redacted].I showed a picture of a Jane Fonda cut, & explained my problem areas & the particulars.[redacted] told me she could do it with no problem.After 2 hrs for the color processing, [redacted] began cutting. She started in the back & began cutting & barely touched the top.This was exactly opposite of what was discussed at the beginning of our conversation.When she began to blow dry, I asked her if she was going to do anything with the top.She explained that she wanted to blow dry it first to see how the hair would fall.Once blow dried, the hair was obviously uneven. At that point, the owner passed by & asked if everything was ok.I explained, it was not anything that I asked for, I wanted the fullness but the hair was flat on my head.The owner then explained that [redacted] was just out of beauty school & was still learning. She was shown the picture I brought in & told [redacted] to use product & lots of it.The owner then proceeded to put various products in her hand, slapped the sides of my head with it & began shake & rub my head until the hair was sticking up & out. The owner told [redacted], she wants full, give her full. Use the product. By this time I had been there 3 hours & was late in getting back to my office. I paid my bill $95.50 & left. When I got back to my office & started combing the stuff out of my hair to take a better look at the cut, it was the most pitiful mess I had ever seen. I was mortified that it was such a bad hair cut. I called back the hair salon & was told to come back & they would fix it. As I was pulling into the parking lot, they called me on my cell to say they could not take me that [redacted] had left sick. I explained someone had to fix it that I was leaving on a trip to my daughters college graduation.I watched the owner through the window refusing to come to the phone to speak to me.The person told me there was nothing they could do and hung up the phone.Desired Settlement: I walked in the salon to speak directly with the owner, since she refused to come to the phone. She said that she could not help me. She also said to sit down and shut up or leave, which I did.I was treated very rudely by this owner and all I wanted was my hair fixed enough to where I could go in public.I want an apology letter & a refund of the $95.50. I located a master level hair stylist to fix the damage caused by them which will take about 3 hair cuts before all the gaps will even out.
