soIt appears that the customer has had the vehicle serviced at other maintenance shops as well as oursOur policy is to replace a tire on any new vehicle if it needs to be done, before deliveryThe customer has not contacted me directly at this point, and I would be more than happy to talk to him about this situation.He is a valued customer and we would hate to lose him as a customer over this matterI cannot Speak for the validity of the other shops but I am concerned in the fact that he did not bring the vehicle here to have the tire issue looked atWe would like to resolve this matter with the customer if he would like to contact meIf the tire was patched or plugged before delivery It seems odd that it would last for almost years without any issuesAlso we have not looked at this tire in the past and would not mind doing So, but since other shops have looked at the vehicle we can not verify what happened with this issue especially after this amount of time since he took deliveryIf the customer would like a replacement tire we would consider getting him one at a discounted price.SincerelyGary D. I am rejecting this response because:  I did contact the dealership and spoke to someone in the service department.  I explained everything that I said in this complaint.  I also contacted [redacted] and they informed me that the dealership refused to get back to them.  I have contacted [redacted] on 3 different dates and they have never sent a reply to me.  Also the dealership has not tried to contact me at any time.

Thank you for notifying us of our customer's complaint. We strive to provide our customers with the best possible service, and when they feel that it fails to meet their expectations, it’s important for us to know.The concern is this vehicle is making a strange noise only after reaching a certain...

temperature. My technicians have found it difficult to duplicate the noise even though they have heard a recording of it. We have tried removing the serpentine belt to see if related, they did not hear noise with belt off, and when reinstalling same belt, noise was still not present. We then got other technicians and our manufacture involved. With the aid of chassis ears we narrowed noise down to the bell housing area of transmission. We removed transmission and found some defective parts, which we replaced under warranty. After repair we test drove vehicle and we did not hear any noise. The entire time the vehicle has been in for repair, we have provided our customer with a rental vehicle at no charge. When our customer picked up his vehicle after last repair, he did notify me that he believes the vehicle is still making the same noise. I apologized and asked him to bring it right back in so we can further diagnose. He told me he was in the process of moving and he needed his truck. I informed him I would incur the extra expense and get him a truck to use while we have his in. He stated the rental trucks do not have a hitch on and he has a trailer to pull. He stated he will bring the truck back as soon as he is done moving. Again I apologized for the incontinence and told him to call me personally as soon as he wanted to bring back and that I would even come and pick the vehicle up from him. We regret any inconvenience or frustration that our customer's experience has caused themThank you again for bringing these matters to our attention.
