Absolute worst service I have ever encountered. Edward K and Michael T the agents working on the refinance of my home are the worst. They lied to me about things
that were going on with my file. They never returned my calls or responded to my E-mails. Mr. K told me on many occassions that he would send me verification of documents and never did!. I will never do business with this company again. [redacted]

Had two bad experiences with Ladera Lending trying to refinance my home in 2016. In my first experience I had been given a rate to refinance my rental property and then as time got close to closing the loan they wanted to increase my rate or pay additional costs. I told then that I was going somewhere else and they eventually agreed to the same rate my bank was going to give me. It still took another two months to close the loans on my properties and the experience was very frustrating. Ladera said they could re-do my loan on the rental property at no cost if rates went down which they did last July. I was going to go with someone else for the lower rate except Ladera said they could still use my last appraisal so I decided to go ahead with them since it made sense. They spent from July to November working on the refinance and every month they kept telling me that the loan was ready to close. I got loan docs in Sept saying the loan was approved, but in Oct they said they needed another appraisal done which they did. However in November I then found out the lock expired on the lower rate and I now would have to pay a higher rate than my original refinance which non longer made sense to proceed with the loan. From my experience, Ladera Lending let mem down and did not do what the said they would. Even more frustrating is I could have got a lower rate somewhere else, but wasted the last 6 month trusting that Ladera was going to do what they said. Now rates are higher and may not go back down again.

None of this complaint is true.  They do not have any documentation showing the loan was locked.  What they wanted was not available from any lender in the country.

Ladera Lending does not charge for appraisals.  The fees are paid to the appraisers who complete the work.  Ladera Lending cannot refund the fee as no fee was collected by Ladera Lending.   The loan file has been taken over by a supervisor, the Mortgage Loan Originator has been...

terminated and the client is happy and moving forward with his loan.  He has requested that this premature complaint be removed form the Revdex.com as all of his concerns were handled as soon as he spoke to a supervisor.

I just recently done a refi thru Ladera Lending. Everything was handled well and closed without any hassles. I would use them again recommend them to anyone that is for a good lender.

Whether you're looking to purchase or refi I strongly recommended Landera Lending. My loan was anything but easy, I worked with Justin H and he kept me informed every step of the way. He found areas where my previous lender completely screwed me. He worked diligently to correct the issues with my previous lender and get my loan approved to my satisfaction. Justin H professionalism and dedications are second to none. I will definitely refer my neighbors and family members who are looking get their loans processed by a honestly hard working individual to Justin H. ???????????? thank you!

Shawn M at Ladera Lending is outstanding. We have refied with them before and always use Shawn. He is friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. My husband and I just retired and Shawn helped us get a lower interest rate plus pay off all our bills. Our retirement is going to be great now. Would definitely use Shawn again and recommend him and Ladera to friends and family.

I have been a realtor for 40+ years. I am always reluctant to do reviews or recommend lenders to my clients. I did not have much of a choice with this last deal. 45 days in escrow and my clients lender declined the loan. Andy Espineira was able to get the loan approved and funded in under 21 days. not only did Andy save our butts, but he also got my client a better deal then the other lame lender was even offering. I would recommend Andy to everyone.
