They were in possession of my watch for THREE AND A HALF MONTHS and it is still unusable. I brought in an all black gunmetal Michael Kors men's watch model # [redacted] beginning if January (I believe Jan 5th but unsure exactly because they kept my first receipt when I got the watch the first time) to get the minute and second hands replaced. It was a brand new watch but since the hands were all black as well as the face of the watch my husband was unable to tell time. I was told they had to check with the owner and would call. A week later they called and yes we could switch out the hands for silver. No I did not want the other dials switched out and it was estimated to be $60 and take two weeks. Three weeks later I called back and they needed to check with [redacted] the owner and watch repairer and will call me back. A few days later they called and were waiting on parts. Two weeks later I called and the parts were in but repair wasn't completed they would call back in two days. A week later they said it would be ready for pickup that Friday. I went and it wasn't. I returned the following week and picked up my watch about February 24th or so. They had replaced the two hands discussed and the three smaller dials also. I return home and give the watch to my husband and lo behold the date isn't working. He waits a day to see if it changes. No. I call and tell them they broke the date and they argued they did not. I ask to speak to the owner and was told he was away on a family emergency and would return the following Friday and be there at 2pm. I do go then and he is not there. I am now told he will be back later if I want to wait a few hours and we argue again about the fact that they did not break the date on the brand new watch that was working perfectly before I left it with them for almost 2 months. He says I can leave the watch for [redacted] to look at. It is March 7th - receipt 5034 I leave the watch and [redacted] will call me. He does not. I call a week later and they say they will repair the date free if charge it will take a week. I call back next week and the repair is not complete they will call me in a few days when [redacted] gets the part her needs. I waited three weeks (due to illness of my own) and went by the get my watch on April 15th and it is still broken. I ask to speak with [redacted] and he says he cannot call him because employees are not allowed to have his cell phone number. I took my broken watch home. Desired SettlementI just want my watch to be usable and working properly. I want them to pay the cost of repairing the watch by a reputable watch repair company. It is currently at one for a repair estimate. I had already sent the watch to another jeweler and we continued with that repair. [redacted] did send me payment for the full amount of the repair and apologized.
