I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***.
I did get the full refund on November 27thBut I did agree with the account of the business ownerIt is not really what had happenedWe did set on November 16th to meet halfway, and I asked if they could just deliver all the way to my home (being I’m on call that day), but if it’s not possible, I’ll go with the original meet up planThe owner of the business agreed to deliver it to my house for a $feeHe said everything is all setBut after few minutes, he called me again saying he couldn’t do it that day because he will be late for another delivery and he doesn’t want his other customers to be angry( for the record, I am a customer whom he made to wait for almost monthAnd I live or less minutes away from our meeting place)He said he will deliver the bed free of charge on November 20th and he will call me before the end of the day to finalize the timeTo this date, I never heard back from himNo bed came on the 20th either nor the days that came after thatOn November 25th I asked for a refund. I did buy another bed because for weeks, my husband and I had been already sleeping on the floor since we got rid already of our old bed in preparation for the one I bought from them which never cameWe actually had to haul our old bed back because they kept on promising me that the bed will be available on such days which never happened, before I finally just bought another bed from a different store. I don’t care about their bed anymoreBut it is more upsetting that the owner would treat me in such an unfair mannerIt is very insulting that he distorted the real storyIt only makes me feel that because I am a woman, and a Foreigner, he could just treat me unfairlyI hope no one else experience what I’ve been through from this business. If he needs more dates and records of my phone calls, I can give those details. Thank you
Yes, indeed the bed arrived to us almost weeks later than the anticipated dateThe original agreement is they would pick it upBecause of the delay, we offered to bring it half way, they agreedThe day we were to deliver it they said it would be difficult for them to Facilitate thatThey asked
us to bring it all the way at our expenseI agreed to do it but, that days schedule would not allow us the extra time it would take and I asked to reschedule , still at no chargeIn the process of trying to schedule, they gave us an unreasonable deadline to go that farThey said they purchased another bedThey demanded a full refundI agreed again, and asked them to call me with the card numberThey just called Monday with a credit card number, we refunded them 100%I do not understand this complaintYes, I still have the productI also did not charge them for a restocking fee, which was stated in our policyI feel I've done everything I've been askedThat being said it does it does pain me not to satisfy a customer and I'm indeed sorry I wasn't able to do soThe request for a free bed and delivery just seems a bit extremeI feel this matter has been resolved with refund, and I will just out the bed on the sales floor to be sold
