While we understand that Mr *** is frustrated,at the time of the job we were as wellThere was some difficulty communicating with the customer but we worked our way through itMr*** seemed to believe that he knew more about the installation than we did, we constantly tried to reassure him
that how we planned to perform the work was exactly how the job should be done and we always follow protocol All went well with the original quoted job that was performed, reviewed and accepted both by Mr*** and the city inspectors office in October/Nov of Mr*** paid us for our work and at that point all was fineWe then received a call from Mr ***'s address several months after the job was completed, questioning the ductwork that was put in...John Lagani, owner, spent a great deal of time discussing things and going over information with Mr***, but at the end Mr*** felt he was right so we agreed to make the adjustmentsWe began this portion of the project in November We placed the ductwork exactly as Mr *** requested...although this time around Mr *** seemed to not agree with anything that we were doingAfter several hours of work and money out of ur pocket we agreed to step away from the additional ductwork job because is becoming very evident that nothing we could would satisfy Mr ***We were NEVER paid for the additional ductwork job performedWe did bill him for $but never received payment and agreed to let it goWe DO NOT agree that a refund is due considering we never received payment for this in the first placeThe only project that was fully completed and paid for was the original installation back in Mr *** was fully aware that the additional ductwork discussed would be an additional charge...at this point we do not expect payment and we do not plan to go after the funds

I am rejecting this response because:
The drop ceiling could not be put back up because they thought that was how the job should be done and they always follow protocol. The original quoted job was finished and we were unable to put the drop ceiling grids and accoustic tiles ceiling back up. Inspection from October/November of 2014. John Lagani agreeing to make the adjustments was not " Mr. [redacted] felt he was right", it was the fact I felt putting ceiling back was an appropriate concern. The ductwork was NOT placed exactly as I requested. John would tell his worker one thing and Joel did what he wanted. Not concerned why mr. [redacted] said where to put the ductwork, so the water heater vent pipe could be located where it needs to be. John and Joel were aware of my concern when I showed both of them the ceiling grid tee would not rest on wall angle grid due to ductwork being too deep. John chose to neglect my concern. He then told Joel to proceed with the installation. The 1500 dollars was not for the incompleted second job, it was for the ductwork mr. [redacted] paid for the first time and Joel had taken it back out of the house. I had my mother call Lagani shop numerous times to see what the problem was completely this project. Different excuses as to why they didn't show and so unprofessional when they just did not return. Left the [redacted]s with Jerry rigged job, no good byes, they never returned. John Lagani, shame on you! Joel was in charge of the second attempt to perform the adjustments when I learned he made excess of careless mistakes during his installation. He had the nerve to take the orginal ductwork and LEFT us without new ones or something to ensure the Hvac would work properly. Joel kept saying I want to be sure you are happy so far... What is up with that?!
