The billing part of this company, now farmed out apparently, is infuriating! They have called no less than 4 times (and I think it is actually about 6 but can prove 4) asking us to pay early on the membership to receive "incentives" ... then they said it can't be cancelled as my partner on the membership and I have absolutely had it with all of the calls and are ready to chuck the whole thing over what we view as harassment ... we've told them repeatedly that we don't wish to renew months early ... this is a mess ... if they are so desperate for money, something major is WRONG!

Review: My wife an I purchased a "Reservation Services License Agreement" with Lagniappe Destinations on February 19, 2014. We were in New Orleans for three days of a three week vacation in the South. We attended a half-day intro about services offered and was pressured to sign the reservation services international (R.S.I.) agreement. We stated before signing that we would review agreement and make final our discision upon returning to our home in Wausau. Signing and paying now would gives us additional discounts and a free one-week stay anywhere we would choose and still have the time to review upon returning home. We did not use any of the reservation services provided as per agreement until we decided. We chose not to use any of the reservation services and wrote a letter to Lagniappe Destinations voiding said agreement and requesting refund of $3755.00 of the total fee of $4250.00. They flatly refused stating we signed the agreement and don't recall our agreement.Desired Settlement: We would like for Lagniappe Destinations to honor our agreement and refund us only the amount for our charter membership fee and we will waive the 1st years dues and processing fees we paid. Also we will return all documention and free stay certificate.

Review: Last year while on vacation in New Orleans I attended a timeshare proposal hosted by lagniappe destinations. In this presentation was promises that not only could they provide vacation areas in almost any where but the prices would be considerably cheaper than their competitors. They produced a powerpoint to give me a visual. After paying $150 a month for almost a year I decided to set up a vacation to New Orleans. To my shock they couldnt provide anything. So I decided to try Las Vegas, this time they had something but the prices were very different from the powerpoint they showed last june. I complained to them, but they told me that it was nothing they could do and would not refund my money for being dishonest.Desired Settlement: Being that I never used their services I would like a full refund.

Review: In 2014, my fianc and I visited New Orleans, LA. During our stay, we were invited to a travel presentation hosted by Lagniappe Destinations. During the presentation, we learned of all the great vacations they offered and were pressured to purchase a vacation plan. While we thought that decision to purchase on the spot was against our better judgment, the Sales Rep encouraged us that it was a good decision to do so by showing us their excellent Revdex.com rating, company history and offerings. What helped to solidify our decision was the Revdex.com rating and prime condo locations that they claimed to have in New Orleans. When we tried to book our first trip we got our first big surprise. The condos in New Orleans that they bragged about during the presentation were not listed in their inventory. Furthermore, all the condos were booked and there were only hotels available. We called customer service and spoke to Andres Guevara, which we were told was the highest person at the company. We changed our destination and date to Las Vegas and began a new search. To our surprise, we ran into the same problem- limited condos and everything was booked except hotels. Just as the phrase goes, "it was too good to be true." We found that the company Lagniappe Destinations has a D- rating with the Revdex.com and Preferred Guest Resorts, which is another name they are synonymous with is not accredited. We have spent over $3,000 for this travel plan and are now taking action to stop their deceiving selling techniques.Desired Settlement: Full refund

Review: Purchased a room at DoubleTree Hilton Orlando at Sea World..The price was $69.90 with a $7.00 reward...my price should have been $62.90...But it was $177.31 and charged on my credit card. I called customer service, to correct. charges(1 800 517 9252)I talked to Ivor and was told it wasn't his problem, that I did not know what I was doing..and hung the phone in my face. They gave me a credit of $18.00 and some cents...I was told Ivor stated I found and hotel for less, which was not true. I have all of my documents...showing the price was and still is $69.90 with a $7.00 reward...The 177.31 is for one night stay.... To pay the amount of money we did to join, this club and to be receive...a charge over what is listed in the book is wrong....Desired Settlement: $115.31 credited back to my credit cared
