Winchel E. whom is not a "Dr." Came at me during my last visit w/ a paper from the "dept. of JUSTICE" informing me that"if I thought I was getting VALUIM from her, I could forget it" I'm 54 yrs. Old, have been dealing w/ "pain management" for over 10 yrs. I have had 2 total knee replacements, a repair of total non union pelvic break, have degenerative disc disease, patio arthritis, neurological damage OK the list goes on. Needless to say, I do have chronic pain.I came to Lags after another Dr. In town w/out any abuse of narcotics on my side sent me a letter telling me to go elsewhere. Lags could not(according to their rules & Ms E.) continue my treatment as was I would have to taper down at a much faster rate to a much lower dose on my main medication & in the mean time if I couldn't do that they could not help me w/ my break thru med. Ms. W.eemed to be understanding & suggested Valium as a way to help me taper down. She referred me to my psych. For other meds. I take. The next visit after prescribing Valium I'm seen by someone else who can't find anything in the notes about the Valium so she tells me that I have to detox w/ what.I have left. Which really shouldn't be any. In the mean time I try to ask for help from both my primary Dr. & my psych. I have been taking my meds fora long time and have consistently tested clean. Have consistently decreased my dosage over time. Have never been short pills. I came in for my last visit because I was late the week before & she okay a non narcotic for the pharmacy so I assumed I was still going to speak to her. I had also recently had a pretty serious fall and was still hurting & wanted to request a chest X-Ray. I want to know why she has this paper from the dept of justice & who she thinks she is to treat people that way?
