Nothing but PROBLEMS with LagunaAfter Spending $for a pool and spa...we have a big bath tub in the back yard and nobody at Lagunapoolandspa is willing to help Our project has been problems from the beginning and the staff at Laguna is *** "too busy" to even return a call We'ge had a non functional spa for two weeks now (brand new mind you) and when they realized three days ago (when they finally decided to address our complaints) we were told they installed the wrong pumpNow getting someone to address the issue of the new pump (the second "new pump") leaking and spewing water all over the side of our house is becoming a nightmare because they are not concerned about making it right This is just the latest of a series of problems with the unknowledgable staff! I will be filing a formal complaint with the Revdex.com when our new pool and spa is actually working! For now only advice I can offer is DO NOT PATRONIZE
THIS BUSINESS! You, like us, will probably regret it

My wife and I purchased a swimming pool from Laguna Pools back in March of
We were concerned that the pool wouldn't be complete by the swim season, our designer "***" assured us that the pool would done in early June as long as we submitted our HOA application right away and got the approval back in a reasonable time frame, he was correct, I want to make this point to anyone having a pool built within an HOA community, submit your HOA application as soon as you can, we got ours back in three weeks, we called Laguna to give them the green light, they put us on their schedule to start the first week in April and away we went, our pool was finished by the first week of June, we made a punch list with "Army", he completed the small touch up items by the end of the following week and we were all done! great job, our pool has been our vacation, *** and I would encourage others to use Laguna Pools

just wanted to thank the team at laguna for doing sure a great job on my backyard paradiseeverything is awesome, thank you for all the little extras that we know you could have charged us for and didn't, it says a lot about your company!!!

My pool spa and BBQ we built in I had many issues with in the first year of ownership in relation to rust showing through spa rock work and my BBQ falling apartLaguna sent field workers over multiple time to repair these issuesThese issues have never gone away and have only continued to worsen over timeMy spa currently has exposed rebar in multiple areas as well as rust showing in multiple locations as wellI suggested that there was a leak within the spa pluming creating this problemThe BBQ is in the same state, just a crumbling messTile falls of constantly ( I have placed back on every year ) and the flat surface where the BBQ sits Is up heavingDue to the fact it was pulling teeth to get resolve my wife and I decided to just try to enjoy what we hadDurning this summer as we swam we could it believe the poor state of construction we were looking atWe have many friends with pools just as old and they have not experienced theses issues everWe feel that laguna is responsible for poor quality of work and needs to attempt to resolve the issuesThis is not an acceptable product after years to be owningI have called laguna and asked for someone to come out and look at the problem several time without a responseAfter calling back I am being told they are to busy to look at repair workOne way or another the issues will be resolve and hopefully it's not by going to the contractors boardFunny how I will get a letter in the mail about a referral or upgrading my current workTo busy for repair work on poor construction!!

I have just given up trying to get satisfaction out of this company. Their incompetence knows no boundaries. I contracted with them to (among other things) build an outdoor BBQ peninsula and to construct and install what was described as a "Brimming Urn".

First the BBQ. Despite being provided with the specifications of our current stucco, they managed to twice use the wrong color. In the end - and armed with the same information as they were provided - I was forced to obtain the paint myself and will be contracting another company to repaint the stucco. A "close match" seems to be satisfactory in their eyes.

Secondly the brimming urn. Since it was installed, it has never fully 'brimmed', leaving the ugly stains of Vegas Valley water on its sides. The pump appears to underpowered and the reason why not enough water is being moved to the brim to allow for complete overflow on all sides. I reported this to their "Customer Service Department" (which happens to be the receptionist and phone answerer) and was told that this was the "standard" pump. Inadequate, yes - but okay in their book.

The owner, [redacted] ([redacted]) [redacted] does not have a clue when it comes to customer satisfaction, preferring to argue, insult and minimize problems rather than listen and constructively act to remediate them. Here are some examples of his actual email responses - complete with the spelling and grammatical mistakes that permeate his writing.

"I will be there wed morning to go over your minimal concerns"

"I would be happy to find a larger pump if you feel this will satify your need to just stop complaining!"

"absolutely not, no refund will be given for a feature that is adequate! that monstosity was the urn you approved!

"Unfortunately , you won't seem ever to be satisfied and it sounds like your an expert on everything"

Laguna Pool and Spa is by far the worst example of (a lack of) customer service that I have ever encountered. I imagine that this negative review will be met with another example of argumentative incompetence - I expect nothing less from Mr. [redacted].

CAVEAT EMPTOR!

My family and I are very pleased with the work Laguna Pool and Spa has done for us. They have changed our backyard into our very own paradise. Everything stayed on budget and was completed by the finish date they said it was. Everyone seemed to really care about our job and were all very knowledgeable. All of the guys were very hard workers and kept our yard neat and orderly. We couldn't be happier! Thank you!!

laguna pools is the best , do yourself a favor and hire them if your looking for a quality builder that does what they say they will do!!!
they finished my pool in 8 weeks , no problems, can't wait till we can use it but it looks amazing!!!!!!!!!
