Laidita Construction

We hired Laidita Construction three years ago to completely remodel an old house we purchased.
This company has never given us an estimate. We asked several times for an estimate. The answer was 'I cannot give it to you because I would need to increase it of 30%. We, unfortunately, trusted them and hoped they would treat us as 'brothers', would be reasonable and would charge us at least per project, not per hour.
You would expect from your GC maximum of attention, professionalism, seriousness. Well this is not what we received. Our GC was completely absorbed by another millionaire project. Our main door is not at the same level as it was drawn by the architect. A good GC would have noticed and corrected it right? *** didn't.
One of our projects included the repair of beams and plywood of the floor (unfortunately this old house had a crawl space) Our GC *** didn't even suggest us to change it to a concrete slab. The crawl space didn't have enough vents under but none gave us a professional advise to improve the existing problems. Our GC and his subcontractors *** and Azevedo put regular plywood on existing beams where they added new beams and fixed them with the screws that are not allowed to be used on wood especially if they are in a humid space. (They have to use Yellow screws) they used the cheapest. In not even 3 years all the structure under has gone! Completely rotten! The beams that were supposed to be pressure treated were destroyed because the screws they used started the oxidation process and allowed the humidity to 'eat them?
Another beautiful thing our GC did he allowed his people to leave tons of demolition garbage. Since we started to live in our remodeled house we were struggling with riches infestation and we couldn't understand what was going on. We were desperate.
When we opened 'the package? and saw what we had under the floor we understood where the pest issue was coming from. We have contacted our GC immediately but he never helped
