This unfortunate and isolated situation was the result of the financial institution freezing the account for security reasons without first notifying us Once the problem was discovered and promptly corrected, we contacted our clients that had been affected by the freeze to notify them either that they could proceed with depositing the check or that a new check inclusive of any fees incurred would be issued Such was the case in this particular instance And while we deeply regret this sort of inconvenience to our customers, we are committed to doing whatever is necessary to rectify the situation and ensure that our clients receive the quality of service they have come to expect

Contrary to the assertion that there had been no contact between the parties, there was in fact communication by Fletcher to this individual setting forth with specificity both the terms of the agreement and all necessary details regarding the property; including the nature and location of the
property and the specific fee incurred for our services Thereafter, and again contrary to the assertions, she executed and had the contract notarized and returned it to us directly with instruction to proceed on her behalf And while we take seriously any compliant on the part of our customers, the basis for this complaint is entirely unfounded.Moreover, all information obtained with respect to this customer was publicly available information that was the product of our investigative services which serve to provide with the most up to date information necessary to reuniting owners, who often relocate But for these investigative efforts, we would not have been able to provide her with the information that she was able to utilize in successfully recovering her claim.Finally, with regard to her outlandish accusations about having been dealt with in a rude and unprofessional matter; this assertion is belied by our record of thousands of satisfied clients In fact, when this individual phoned Fletcher she was verbally abusive to our staff, would not allow us to respond to her, so much so that the conversation had to be concluded. And while this isolated incident is regrettable, we could not have done anything differently and could not subject our employees to unjustifiable abuse and harassment.All information provided to Fletcher by this individual, and all of our customers, is stored securely and remains confidential and will be purged from its system upon request, as has been done in this case.With regard to the assertion that she was not allowed to refuse our services, this is entirely untrue In actuality, this person was advised that services would be discontinued and no fee whatsoever was incurred by her

The error was caused by the financial institution, *** ***, and not Fletcher Recovery Group *** *** was advised several times and as recently as days ago that the distribution check in her possession was available for deposit Upon her request, a new check was drawn and sent
yesterday After a discussion with the customer this morning, in which Fletcher was made aware of additional fees incurred by the customer, a second new check was issued and mailed as reimbursement of those fees.This was an unusual scenario, in which an unfortunate miscommunication resulted in this complaint

 1) the premise for the response has not been addressed. Alternately, there is an abundance of manipulative dialogue as if to convince and not to resolve. 2) These people suggest that they assisted me in efforts to log on to the NYS Comptrollers homepage and subsequently contact them and not NYS to obtain money due me which is absurd.3) I was solicited by them based on information they by their own response state that they recieved from public information however in speaking with the representative in the comptrollers office it was suggested that here is also an additional data base system these people may be utilizing that allowed  Fletcher, LLC  synchronize their solicitation. Which would explain why I was under the impression that they were affiliated with NYS. I am not the first individual; they have attempted to manipulate and their response albeit lengthy does not address the complaint.4) it is NYS law that only one party of whom is directly engaged in the telephone conversation need be notified that the conversation is being recorded. Thanks to my Android application on my phone I exercise this right routinely.  I have uploaded to you tube the conversation between Fletcher LLC, along with their denial to their lack in professionalism which in my opinion also speaks to the character and ethics of these people.
