MsD***, Thank you for your submission regarding your higher than bill We agree that your consumption is higher than normal We read your meter for billing on 9/26/ We attempted to contact you by phone (***-***-***) on 10/3/to advise of the increased consumption and left a voicemailThere was no answer at the phone number so we also mailed a letter on 10/3/to the service address asking that you call us to discuss your usage We rechecked the meter reading on 9/29/and found that the flow detector was turning which is indicative of a leak and would cause significant increase in consumption Please contact us at 864-582- [redacted] once the leak is repaired so that we may review any due adjustments to the billed amount Thank you, C.*A***

We were originally informed of a leak issue at this property in late April and have checked for repaired leak per the customers request on occasions.The end of May we were able to confirm that the flow dial on the meter is no longer turning and an adjustment was submitted for this customer.
There are other circumstances that have impacted the water service at this property that could be cleared up with communication between the customer and SWS. We look forward to a quick resolution,*** ***Customer Service Manager

[redacted]I had not notification that the $300 bill had been adjusted at all. I only have 1 check that did not clear my [redacted] bank account, the other check I wrote for $150 was never turned into my bank, it was just returned back to me, because the money was in the bank. I went 2 1/2 months with out water and when the water bill normally ran $30 a month that is $90 and I do have my bank statement and receipts to show I have made several cash payment on my account since January.
