? I am rejecting this response because:Lake Chevrolet's is a blatant lie as can be seen in three places? One, the attached work order showing that I am to cover 58% of the tire.Two, Chevrolet's web page that says:? The tires supplied with your vehicle are covered by General Motors against defects in material or workmanship under the Bumper-to-Bumper Limited Warranty coverage.? http://www.chevrolet.com/owners/warrantyThree, the proration scale is my warranty manual, which I can provide if necessary.Thank you, [redacted]

[redacted] Summary of Events Malibu [redacted] May 5, RO miles Customer came in requesting LOF / Rotation, SES and Brake Lamps, requesting warranty repair Inspection found car had been in accident wiring was misrouted (their fore not GM warranty)No further work authorized for diagnostics of SES and Brake Lamp issueCustomer took their vehicleAugust 24, RO miles Customer came in requesting LOF / Rotation, Alignment due to tire wear issue and SES Lamp onInspection Oil Change / Rotation and alignment performedSES Lamp Brake Lamps require further diagnostics at additional CostCustomer decline and took car due to family emergencyCustomer was to return for diagnostic at additional costSeptember 4, Customer contacted General Manager stating the brakes failed on freewayCustomer felt that the failure should have been found during prior inspectionSeptember 13, RO miles Customers came in and meet with Service Manager ( [redacted] ) Customer explained that the vehicle had prior been in a major accident and felt that the repairs performed by the customer’s body shop may not have been performed correctlyCustomer stated that when the brakes failed on the freeway they towed the car to the closest dealership [redacted] Chevrolet [redacted] found that the Electronic Brake System connector had become disconnectedCustomer felt that Lake Chevrolet should have found this during their inspection(Customer never authorized further inspection than a visual brake inspection during tire rotation)Lake Chevrolet offered to go ahead with an inspection of the vehicle with management inspection at no charge for customer satisfactionInspection found multiple connectors disconnected in steering system and that there possibility of more hidden damage maybe even frame damage Lake Chevrolet recommended the vehicle to be taken to a Certified Body Shop for further inspectionCustomer picked up the vehicleSeptember 18, [redacted] meet with [redacted] and [redacted] I explained what I had seen during the inspection of the vehicle [redacted] let me know that they had been to see a lawyer and had contacted the BARI thought this was a good thingI told them from what I had seen and depending on what the inspection from the body shop reveals it may be better that they get into another vehicle [redacted] said that is what they wantedHe said they wanted to get into another vehicleI explained that they would have to see our sales department because I do not know what their vehicle was worth in its current state [redacted] said I did not understand what he was asking [redacted] said because we let his family drive in a car which was unsafe we were to give him another vehicle in exchange for theirsI stated I did not think that was going to happenThey left very upsetSummary; the customer was not forthcoming with information of the vehicle’s prior accident and body shop repairsWhen the dealership found that this was the issue customer never authorized further diagnostics to be performed due to additional costCustomer elected to remove the vehicle on August 24th from the dealership knowing that there was a recommendation for further diagnostics at additional costCustomer did not return for this recommended diagnostics until the poor workmanship performed by the customer’s body shop caused them to have an issue on the freeway

I am rejecting this response because: They knew the problems existed during the safety checkAn honest, fair and ethical dealership would disclose too the customer there is a problem that needs to be fixed, so the customer can make an informed decision as to whether or not to purchase the vehicle with the mechanical problemsThey never disclosed to me either verbally or written that there was problems with the vehicle

tires are not covered under the manufacturers warranty

My husband and I had a water pipe burst in our home while we were out of town on vacationIt was devastating coming home to flooded home We quickly reached out to our insurance company who put us in contact with FLA-CATThey were extremely quick with getting our home back togetherThey replaced our carpet, and removed a little mold damageThey did an excellent job and were very professional at all timesIf I'm ever in need of assistance with mold damage, flood damage or even a simple remodel, I will definitely use FLA-CATI recommend them to anyone else in need of this type of repair

August 24, 2017 RO 365351 41819 miles Customer came in requesting LOF / Rotation, Alignment due to tire wear issue and SES Lamp on. Inspection Oil Change / Rotation and alignment performed. SES Lamp Brake Lamps require further diagnostics at additional Cost. Customer decline and took car due to family emergency. Customer was to return for diagnostic at additional cost. September 4, 2017 Customer contacted General Manager stating the brakes failed on freeway. Customer felt that the failure should have been found during prior inspection. September 13, 2017        RO 365336 43427 miles Customers came in and meet with Service Manager ([redacted]).  Customer explained that the vehicle had prior been in a major accident and felt that the repairs performed by the customer’s body shop may not have been performed correctly. As stated by the consumer, the vehicle was sold as-is. The customer was informed that the $999 vehicle was as-is before he purchased. The vehicle went through the smog and safety process before he purchased as well. Thank You
