Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Regards, [redacted]

Ms. [redacted] brought her vehicle in for an oil change. A technician error caused Ms. [redacted] vehicle to stall out and it was towed into our facility. It was determined that West Loop Mitsubishi was at fault for the issue and in good faith we loaned a vehicle to Ms. [redacted] to use while we... repaired her vehicle. Once the vehicle was repaired, Ms. [redacted] was contacted but she then stated she did not want that vehicle anymore so we agreed to try to trade her out of that vehicle and into a new vehicle. While we attempted to secure financing for Ms. [redacted] we allowed her to continue to drive our vehicle. Ms. [redacted] was advised that until we could secure financing for a different vehicle she would still be responsible for the payment on her existing loan. However, Ms. [redacted] failed to continue to make payments on that vehicle which made it impossible for us to obtain financing for a new vehicle without a substantial down payment. Ms. [redacted] said she did not have money for a down payment so West Loop Mitsubishi tried to help her by offering to buy any personal item of value so she could get the down payment needed to obtain financing. Ms. [redacted] refused the offer and refused to pick up the vehicle that she left with us for repair and continued to drive the vehicle we had loaned to her. West Loop Mitsubishi contacted Ms. [redacted] a final time, when Ms. [redacted] arrived at the dealership the vehicle we had loaned to her had been wrecked by her, and she had filed an insurance claim for the wreck. However, her insurance company forwarded the check for the repairs to her and she cashed the check rather than using the proceeds to repair our vehicle. At that time, we took back our damaged vehicle and asked that she remove her repaired vehicle from our premises. She failed to do so and the vehicle was then repossessed by the lienholder for failure to make payments. West Loop Mitsubishi maintains that we did in good faith try to remedy an error by our service department. Ms. [redacted] was uncooperative and negligent in return. West Loop Mitsubishi strives to provide excellent customer service and if we make an error, we stand by our service and try to remedy the situation. Unfortunately, our efforts in this situation were met with disdain and unwillingness to cooperate. We are now left with a damaged vehicle that we must pay to have repaired.

We are looking into this matter as of right now, here at West Loop Mitsubishi we strive to meet our customer's needs

We set an appointment with the customer to come in and address her issues and upon arrival she stated she didn't have time and got up and left. Thank you

On 6/7/we replaced an evaporative system purge solenoid to correct the malfunction indicator lamp illuminated, displaying diagnostic trouble code PThe solenoid replacement corrected the lamp illumination, the condition presented when the vehicle arrivedOn 6/22/16, Ms*** had her
vehicle towexhibiting a no-start conditionThe battery was completely discharged as a result of a malfunctioning alternatorThe alternator was not chargingWe replaced the alternator, which corrected the condition presented when the vehicle arrivedI am happy to report that both of these repairs carry a twelve month/12,mile warranty and Ms*** only need return the vehicle to the dealership to have the vehicle inspected for these concernsAny other repairs outside the scope of these two repairs would not be covered under this warranty and could result in additional chargesPlease schedule a time that’s convenient for you, so we may inspect the vehicle

We have come to a resolution and the matter has been resolved. Thank you

We have contacted Mr*** and discussed the issues listed below. Mr*** understands that the original contract was reassigned to *** Bank because they offered the interest rate and terms that Mr*** was requesting on the purchase of his vehicle. West Loop Mitsubishi
strives for total customer satisfaction and we believe we have resolved Mr*** concerns about this purchase Thank You

Ms*** came into West Loop Mitsubishi and purchased a Mitsubishi Outlander. As part of the negotiations, the rebate of $was shown as a reduction in the total amount financed on all of the documents. It was reflected on the negotiation worksheet, the buyers order and the
retail installment contract. Ms*** signed all of these documents when she purchased the vehicle. Several weeks after her purchase, Ms*** returned to the dealership and inquired about the rebate and was told by the finance manager that it had been applied to her contract as a down payment that reduced the total amount financed on the purchase. Ms*** disagreed with the finance manager even though she signed all of the documents that disclosed the application of the rebate to her deal. Ms*** then spoke to the General Sales Manager who also showed Ms*** the documents which disclosed the rebate as a reduction in the amount financed. Ms*** was still not pleased with the response so as a token of goodwill the General Sales Manager offered Ms*** several free oil changes. West Loop Mitsubishi strives to insure that every customer is satisfied, however, Ms*** is asking for a benefit that she already received and acknowledged when she signed all of the documents with the rebate fully and properly disclosed

We have spoken to Mr*** and are in agreement upon the settlement, he is satisfied

We have been trying to contact this customer to resolve this issue and have failed to reach him. Thanks

I am rejecting this response because: I need clarification on what they mean by "discharge of battery". If they mean the battery was inoperable or they replaced it, this is a complete flat out fallacy. I was not advised that the battery was discharged or replaced. In addition, they have failed to prove their claim, as based on the history of my account, I continuously visited them for this issue and they failed to resolve it. Yet they verbally indicated that the recommended repairs would solve the problem.  Ok, so if another issue was the problem, then why wasn't I advised of that prior to authorizing the recommended repairs. Surely, if I knew the recommended repairs would not solve my complaint for which I brought the vehicle to the shop, why would I waste my time and money? I wouldn't and I'm sure others patrons would agree.. The management at this location and the techs assured me after each recommended repair that they had targeted and resolved the complaint (stall out issue). This service department has not acted in good faith and continues to exhibit unprofessional and unethical behavior as well as paint a negative impression of the entire Mitsubishi franchise. Hence, I am rejecting their response. Furthermore, with or without the assistance of your office, I will continue to seek a final and justifiable resolution to my claim, as I know I have been wronged, to  include seeking the assistance of additional consumer governmental affairs agents and ultimately filing a small court claim, if necessary. It is my hope they will reconsider and do the right thing for me as well as other patrons.

I am rejecting this response because: I called them to let them know I was coming because I am a...

SINGLE MOM with 5 KIDS and I did not have a lot of time. They had me sit and wait forever and they had NO customers. I asked the front receptionist where did [redacted], the Sales Director go because I just saw him sitting in the office and I told the tall manager I will be back. Call me when you guys are ready to fix the issues. I drove back & forth to this dealership like 10 times in the past couple weeks. I called [redacted] the other day to ask, before driving all the way over there with my sister are they ready to fix the issues before we sit in traffic for hours again. He said, no. He accepts the misrepresentation of the contract and does not care to come to a resolution with customers. Attached is proof the Car Sales Price $27,315.31. When the advertisement sales price is $24,845 -$3,000 rebate "not" adding additional $3,000+$2,500 on top of sales price. The contract is clearly incorrect. Also, [redacted] just sent me a letter, the dealership incorrectly put information on contract application. The whole contract is incorrect! I know they know "Sales Tax" is not $2,500+ and I did not get any warranties or other services.Just fix this West Loop Mitsubishi, Line (1) is supposed to be $24,845 minus $3,000 rebate minus $ Hail Damage discount minus $ Employee discount as agreed with [redacted] Sales Man. Finance amount should be $20,000 or less Requesting resolution as stated before, fix the contract(s) and mail me updated contract(s) with addendum for free car wash, oil change and car loaner. My 2016 Mitsubishi Outlaner is RECALLED.
