SSOOOOdisgusted with what has become of Tervis customer serviceOur family loves the Tervis tumbler brand, but I think we have purchased our final cupFull disclosure, I have never had a problem with Tervis replacing our defective cups, the problem I have is with how much work is involved with getting the replacementsAll sarcasm aside, we own btwn and Tervis cups, all sizes & shapesThe vast majority of them are the originals, we have had relatively few problems considering the number of cups we ownA year ago (plus or minus some months) Tervis stopped taking in store warranty exchangesWHY!!??!! I bought the cup at that store and until a year ago (+/-) I could bring my exchanges to the storeNow you have to go to the web site & fill out forms and search for the replacement cups, which involves opening another tab because you can't fill out the form & get the cup info on the same screen and then pack up the cups & pay for the postage to return the cups

I have been a customer for over years, and was ALWAYS happy, paying their "higher" price, for plastic tumblers They HAD a wonderful return policy, "bring them in, get credit, and go home with new tumblers" My latest trip to Tervis was met with a "we no longer take them here, you must send them in." After much screwing around, on the computer, to get the "proper" form, then the almost $for postage, to return them, I waited After what seemed like more than a month, I DID get my replacements Some not what I ordered, but at least I DID get them I have spread the word to family, friends, and strangers, about their "NEW" return policy Everyone I spoke to was furious, and will NOT be purchasing them for gifts, as in the past I myself will use the ones I have until they fall apart and then be FORCED to pay a return postage fee, when I live less than blocks from the Tervis store Shame on Tervis and their NEW CEO He and his minions have made a really BAD decision, and I predict, in the future, will see a decrease in sales, from their FORMER loyal customers I am sure that they really don't care about my review, but I AM sure that as the snowbirds return, with THEIR returns, there will be less sales Everyone knows that when you went in to exchange, you always spent MORE money So they NEVER lost money GREEDY people, shame on them

Complaint regarding Tervis life warranty After a month, I hadn't heard back from them regarding my tumbler I mailed them to be repaired/replaced They stated they hadn't received it After submitting proof they received it (via Delivery Confirmation) they stated it was not a Tervis product I emailed them the link of what it looked like and the product's description stating it was a Tervis They still insisted it was not a Tervis! I finally hand wrote a letter the CEO along with a picture of the MLB tumbler I mailed them Soon after, I received my replacement! months later I received my original tumbler! I am very tempted to take a picture of my original tumbler and replacement side by side and mail to the CEO!

I am not impressed with tervis at all. It doesn't live up to its claim that drinks are kept hot or cold. When I e-mailed this complaint to tervis, their response, finally, was rather snarky. "Make sure to put the lid on." Was that the best they could say?
Any [redacted] knows if it comes with a lid-use it!!
No more tervis cups for me.

Worst company to deal with. Twice I ordered gifts from Tervis, first time the gift was lost in transit, I contacted them, then they replaceed it...to the billing address instead of shipping address, I noticed the problem and let them know but they still told me that it was right, wth. Finally my friend didnt receive anything. Second time, the gift passed estimate date to ship out. Tervis ruined my relationships. I Hate this company.
