First, I find it hard to believe that this car had no previous problems, but then developed problems starting soon after I purchased it (see info about A/C system, and transmission), there appears to be reasons why the previous owner replaced it, and why I have been denied previous records, twice Secondly, the misrepresentation about the "warranty" that I was sold with the carIt was presented as an "extended bumper to bumper warranty" by the F&I manager, That is why I spent $for itI wanted a dependable vehicle, but should a problem occur, I could avoid the costly expenseAs the annoying breakdowns occurred more often, the warranty support became exposed as very limited, NOT how it was sold The vehicle was misrepresented as a "quality" used vehicle, and the extended "bumper to bumper warranty" was misrepresented as wellNote: I have an invoice number XXXXXX that states " Portfolio Extended Warranty ....." apparently the term "warranty" is used loosely around the dealership, supporting my "bumper to bumper warranty" purchase claim My Ford quit again on March 26, when the three year Motorcraft battery failed after only two years I still have an undependable vehicle that I do not trust, and a selective "non-warranty" I am willing to negotiate a FAIR buyback of this vehicle at any time Final Business Response / [redacted] (4000, 14, 2016/04/20) */ We are in receipt of the customers responseThis does not appear to be something we can rectify The customer has had the vehicle for approximately months and driving from approximately XXXXX at purchase to approximately XXXXX milesthe customer has had approximately out of pocket expense during this timeIt does not warrant a buy backIf the customer wants to contact us we will appraise the vehicle for maximum trade in valueWe stand by and look forward to making the best of the situation Final Consumer Response / [redacted] (4200, 16, 2016/04/22) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) " The customer has had the vehicle for approximately months and driving from approximately XXXXX at purchase to approximately XXXXX miles" THE VISITS FOR REPAIRS IS THE ISSUE, NOT WHO PAID FOR IT, ALTHOUGH THAT HAS STARTED TO BE A PROBLEM AS WELL I HAD FIRST ASKED THEM TO BUY IT BACK OVER ONE YEAR AGO, AT APPROXIMATELY 60,MILES!THEIR AVOIDANCE OF THIS ISSUE IS WHAT HAS TAKEN US TO THIS DATE, MONTHS LATER LAKE ELSINORE FORD SOLD ME AN UNDEPENDABLE VEHICLE, LIED ABOUT THE WARRANTY THAT THEY SOLD ME WITH IT, AND HAS INSULTED ME MONTHS AGO WITH THEIR OFFER OF A "MAXIMUM TRADE IN VALUE" OF $DOLLARS FOOL ME ONCE, SHAME ON YOUFOOL ME TWICE, SHAME ON ME LAKE ELSINORE FORD IS NOT A HONEST DEALER
