There was certainly not $dollars worth of work doneI was present the entire time [redacted] was at my home for work and he arrived at 9:am the first day and left before 3:pm stating that he had to pick his fiance up at the airport.? The next day he arrived around 9:am and was there until 4:but left in the middle of the day for approximately hoursThe third day he arrived at 10:am and had left without speaking to me at 12:15.? This is a total of hours that he was present at my home.? During that time there was not a lot of work going on and it certainly does not take hours to nail in can lights.? On top of that I purchased all of the materials that were involved.? I do respect the decision to not move forward with work that you are not comfortable or qualified to do but I do not respect that you sneaked out of my home with my money and communicated that you quit via a flippant text message.? You also deposited the check prior to beginning the work which I had asked you to hold it until completion of the first day so that we could both be protected and you willfully decided to deposit it anyways.? These factors along with the way you conducted ending the job give me the impression that you had intended to do what you did all along.? If you were a reputable business owner who took pride and integrity into their business, you would know that giving back at least part of the money would be the right thing to do.? In my opinion, you willfully took advantage of me and my family.? And you as a person who also has a family, I would think you would understand the impact this kind of thing has.? In my opinion, you have take money from me with very little work done in exchange, you disregarded a contract without having the integrity to speak to me about it to my face and you took my money anyhow.? I am so very disappointed? in the fact that people can operate a business, take advantage of someone and then get away with it with zero consequences.? ? Regards, [redacted] ?

She had a lot of electrical hanging all over the place, the job did not seem too complicated when I originally inspected itUpon further review of the electrical in place, electrical needed to be rerouted everywhereShe knew I was not a licensed electricianI came in and took down some of the old
electrical items, and took the can lights out and wired up new onesWhen it got to rerouting the existing electrical work that needed to be pulled down from the wall that she was having removed, I did not feel comfortable doing that part of it, so I told her thisShe paid me $for the work I already completedShe still needed about $of work leftShe respected my decision not to go further with the jobI did not feel comfortable with the work that was left. That is where we left it.
