Ms [redacted] child had an appointment scheduled with our office on April 4, at 10:amMs[redacted] contacted the office on April 7, and advised the front desk staff that she had missed the appointment on April 4, because our office did not perform a reminder call to her for this appointmentShe stated that it was the fault of our office for not doing a courtesy reminder call to her At that time she was informed that reminder calls are made most of the time as a courtesy to the patients but are not guaranteed I then spoke with Ms [redacted] as she called back to the office againI also informed her that the office, myself In particular, do make reminder callsI explained to her that when the time is available to make these calls the office tries It's hardest to do the calls but there are times that this Is not possibleAt that point she Informed me that I did not do these calls ever at which time I informed her that she was misinformed I also stated to her that the responsibility of remembering an appointment made by oneself Is really the responsibility of the person who made the appointment Ms [redacted] would take no responsibility for missing her appointment other than to blame this office for not making a reminder call to her which again I stated Is a counesy not a routineWe try to make these calls but we must first take care of the patient's that are being seen in the office I did In fact tell Ms [redacted] that I was losing my composure with herWhen someone tells you that you do not make calls when this is one of the duties of the office that I do In fact do the comment was Inappropriate and IncorrectAt that point I felt that because she was going to put the burden of remembering her appointments on the office, knowing that we try to make reminder calls as much as possible but that It is not always possible, I advised her that this may not be the office that would fit her needs Again I state reminder calls are done as a courtesy as time allows Sincerely, [redacted] Office Manager

I want her terminated and a formal apologyShe fails as a business manager, a professional person would apologize and try to retain their patients because of us is why they are able to put food on their tablesOur insurance companies pays them for full service but yet, she tells me and tries to assure me that she indeed does her job when she does notTheir receptionist indicated not fully staff to do their jobs at its fullestYet, calls her patients burdens because we all have lives and yes, we rely on those callsNever met such unprofessional person in my life and she fails to realize not only clinic in Milwaukee CountyWill file a complaint with whomever I can for her terminationIf she was a little bit of professional she would realize how, who and where her paycheck comes from, our insurance companies and patients but to be called a burden, is unprofessional
I refuse to go back since have found much better doctors, staff and professional clinicShe gave me incentive to transfer to a better clinicDo request an apology and her termination
