I am rejecting this response because: what ross is saying is far from the truth. we setup for the wedding the day before. it was I the bride, my husband , my sister and my daughter. as for he saying I was inebriatd and wobbled down the aisle is untrue..I danced don the aisle to a bruce springsteen song and have video to prove that. and this thing he keeps stated about me vomitting is far from the truth once again and am not really sure where he is getting that story from. not I nor any of the guests vomtted. that was an issue he came out screaming about to my husband.  the food was brought out at 4:00 and was no way out for 2 hours as this entire problem took place before 6 when we asked for the food as guests did not eat. it was 6 when my daughter was called a [redacted] by this drunk ross and told we had 10 minutes to get out all because she asked for food for the guests that did not eat. one guest had a question about getting water to drink and he was screamed at like a dog. my husband was yelled at before the guests even arrived when he asked where the guests were to park since the parking lot was full from his paint ball people. we were never told by ross that we had to handle the desserts which were in the kitchen in his he refrig. they took the desserts out ..wedding cake was cut..I have pictures of all this and plenty on guests not drinking that saw and heard it all. as for not paying again ross is not telling truth.. the balance of the wedding was paid in full way before I had to call the police. as my best man mark another person not drinking went in to pay the balance long before the police had to come. my candy that we worked hard marking was yes in fact all broke when his worker threw it on the table again many of my guests saw this also. after having such problem on our wedding day we went online and read reviews about this place and found many more telling of the drunkness that goes on by the owner. and here is another review. My latest visit to this lodge was beyond horrific. A dear friend had her wedding there and it ended with the presence of the police. The owner and many of his employees of this lodge were drunk. They become drunk at every event held there that includes alcohol because they help themselves to the customers alcohol. He threw the "F" word around a lot. I started getting yelled at, when I asked why they cut up the bride's cake before she got to cut it. The one worker kept saying he didnt know what to do. Its not the first wedding there. If you are going to host a wedding then it is your job to find out what to do. We asked them to take the cake back in the kitchen to save what we could. It was brought into the kitchen and then brought back out which in turn allowed more guests to eat it. We were cleaning up and asked for the box for the cake and again we were screamed at and told to call a detective to find it. Then he started yelling, You "f'in" people have 10 mins to get out otherwise I am locking up and anything left is mine. This caused emotions and tempers to rise and many guest started arguing with each other as we quickly started gathering things and getting the bride and grooms belongings out to vehicles. The owner was screaming nastily at the bride's young daughter, causing the bride to feel threatened and called the police. Once we were finished and leaving the property the owner and his worker stood outside and waved and yelled happy dwi to each and every vehicle leaving. I have spoken to others who have had their events there and there are similar stories of this nightmare. He doesnt do contracts, tells you last minute that if you pay cash he wont charge you tax. Maybe the IRS should investigate. That is why he got so angry because he was getting questioned as to what he was doing.

over the side. As to the dessert and food issues: First of all the guest are in charge of their desserts. My staff and I do not handle or touch any desserts for the exact reasons she says transpired. As for the buffet, the food was put out on time and left out for two hours as is our custom here. The bride wanted to take all the leftovers home which is not our policy or the policy of our insurance company to protect against food poisoning liability. All leftovers are disposed of immediately during clean up. The real issue here is that the bride tried to skip out with out paying. She said she forgot her checkbook and would come by the next day to settle up. This of course was unacceptable so she had no choice but to open her wedding envelopes and pay in cash which at first she refused to do. She changed her mind after the police arrived. I can also send the Revdex.com numerous thank you notes we have received over the last 14 years in business. I would also like to inform you we have a wedding scheduled here every Saturday from this weekend until the last weekend in October. If you would like to discuss any of this feel free to call. Thank you.
