I am writing in response to your letter dated February 7, ** *** misrepresents the cause of the "DRIPS" present during unique weather conditions** ***'s son was advised to remove and eliminate the skylightsHe insisted and bought a wire reinforced glass skylight that meets
the fire department specifications. There are no "roof leaks" his skylights drip from condensation depending on weather conditions ** *** and her son are in the construction trades and know the truth about the drippingThey are attempting to get different skylights and not pay for them. We have run several water tests over the installed roof surfaces over the last year and no active leaks were detectedUnless they have physical damage the roof system does not leak. Please have them forward any pictures of damage of the roof surfaceThey are using you to get something for free from Lake. Going forward inform ** *** to send an email to Lake requesting another water test and she must state in the email if no active leaks can be discovered, she agrees to pay $for the water test and if a leak is detected Lake will fix for freeAny physical damages are excluded and skylights are completely exempt from any implied warrantees.
