Review: [redacted] working the cash register couldn't use it. I told him three walkers and a cart. He charged me for two carts(my uncle never in his life used a cart, he's 72 and walks for exercise) I caught the overcharge for $82.29, I said this can't be right. The price seemed high. He tried fixing the issue all done on my credit card. After twenty minutes. I was charged $82.29 twice and $65.41 once, with a credit of $164.58. [redacted], my friend, told him to print out all of the receipts because, he had no idea what he was doing. Later, we found he told his boss, [redacted] we couldn't make up our mind what we wanted so that's why he messed up the transaction so bad, he said repeatedly charged us the correct golf amount of $65.41. I left the golf course with 4 receipts.

I got my visa statement in the mail a few weeks later or so. My statement said, I was charged 5 times but, was given only 4 receipts from [redacted]. [redacted] had charged me $82.29 THREE times and never gave me that 5th receipt. I called and talked to [redacted] who said he would contact [redacted] from accounting to look into it. [redacted] called me back soon after and told me I was overcharged $82.15, I said no, I was overcharged $82.29. [redacted] said, oh, yes, I agree. [redacted] said, we are sorry, good thing you caught it. We will refund your money of the $82.29 next month. This was the conclusion after he had gone over the receipts with [redacted].

A few days later, I get a check for $73.85, I call [redacted] to tell her that's not correct from what [redacted] had told me. [redacted] said, I was undercharged $10 dollars for golf. She said the $65.41 was $10 dollars short. I told [redacted] I have a signed receipt that golf that day was $65.41. [redacted] said so. She said no, and took the money from my over charge of 82.29.

In conclusion, I caught a overcharge of $82.29 and I guess some how in magic land I owe them money, an extra 10 dollars.

Phone call conversations. First phone call. [redacted] picked up, said he would talk to [redacted] from accounting, [redacted] called me back and said [redacted] and I, looked over the receipts and owe you $82.29. I called [redacted] next, after she sent me the check for $73.85. I told [redacted] I'm going to take her to small claims and she told me I can't threaten her, she has top lawers. I never said anything vulgar. Later she called me back and said she wanted copies of my receipts. I said why, [redacted] just said you guys looked at the receipts, and told me you owe me $82.29. [redacted] said she would call me back. She never called so I called the f[redacted]t desk and talked to [redacted]. I said [redacted], how come you promised $82.29 and didn't deliver. He said, we changed our minds. I said you can't make up bills I owe you. I have a sgned receipt for $65.41. [redacted] fails to understand the legal side, along with [redacted], and [redacted]. At this point after dealing with all three I lost my temper, and called [redacted] a freaking dumb [redacted] Three times or so. [redacted] called me once and left no message. I refuse to speak to any of them. [redacted] has lied to me too many times.Desired Settlement: $10

Here is the Lake Mills Golf Club response to complaint number [redacted], issued by [redacted]:Our cashier working in the pro shop August 30 did overcharge this customer. He was able to refund more than half of it immediately to his credit card. We found out about the remaining overcharge when this customer called us after receiving his credit card statement. Our pro shop manager told the customer the manager (me) would look into it and we would get back to him. He never told him how much he would be getting back because we still had not investigated the [redacted]er and checked our security tapes to see what this customer had purchased.After looking into the situation, I discovered we had charged him double what he should have been charged. His charge should have been $73.85 for two riders and a walker, and we charged him $82.29 and $65.41 for a total of $147.70. We immediately issued him a check for the overcharge of $73.85 and mailed it to him with a letter of apology.A few days later, this customer called to tell me he wanted an additional $8.44 back or he would sue us. I told him that he had two riders and a walker, which came to $73.85. He said he wanted more back because he had one charge of $65.41 and that’s what he wanted to be charged. I told him the pro shop cashier had charged him $82.29 first and mistakenly thought he owed additional money, which is why he was also charged the $65.41. He told me he didn’t care, he was going to sue us. He and his friend in the background then began threatening me and calling me a “fking bh.” I told him I would not continue this conversation if he was unable to be civil, and I ended the call.The next day he called our pro shop manager to demand money from him. Our pro shop manager said that we refunded him fairly. He also demanded that our pro shop manager provide him with his full name, address, and phone number as well as the full name, phone number, and address of the pro shop cashier he first met. He threatened them both and was verbally abusive. Our pro shop manager said he wouldn’t talk to him anymore because of his abusive language, and then he hung up the phone. After these conversations, we made the decision to put this customer on our “No Play” list because we felt his actions and abusive language could pose a threat to our staff and other customers.
