On I personally went to [redacted] residence to pick up a leather jacket , and a long shearling jacketI explained to [redacted] that I do not clean leather items and would be giving it to my outside leather cleaning source later that dayI explained the cleaning goes out on Monday and comes back the following Monday.Neither [redacted] nor I examined the items before I collected themThat afternoon MrDustin K [redacted] From Jungs Leather Cleaning Specialists picked up the stated coat for cleaningThe following Monday the [redacted] Mr K [redacted] brought the coat back to me stating it wasn't cleaned as the coat came in with a burn damage on the back bottomHe showed me that the coat was never touched or cleaned with the following signsThere are two tags put in the coat one by me and one by JungsWhen they go thru the machines the tags come out shriveled and worn outThe two tags on this coat are in pristine conditionSecondly the coat has a distinct perfume( not dry cleaning odor) on the furThe scent is from ladies perfumeThirdly the coat if it had gone thru a dry cleaning would be clean conditionThis coat is not clean there is still plenty of dirty areas that would have come clean had it been put thru the machineI am very sorry that she has this problem with this coat but it is very clear that we did not do anything to burn this coatShe is now accusing me of lying and defaming my excellent reputationI now wonder if she is lying and trying to pull a fast one on me with a old previously damaged coatIf I had to guess the damage probably occurred last season before she put it away for the winter, when she leaned against a radiator or possibly spilled something on it without realizing she did the damageThanks Marc
In reference to the claim by [redacted] , I have already respondedI explained to [redacted] that I do not clean leathers or for that matter anything in my storeI run a dry cleaning drop storeIt was clearly explained that I would be giving it out to my leather cleaning specialists at Jungs leather cleanersShe was aware that I was picking up on Monday so it would go out that afternoon and not come back for a full weekWhen it did come back it went back to her on the next delivery Wed eveThat is days that has no bearing on any of the facts whether the coat was dry cleanedJust to repeat again I discussed this issue with my rep MrDustin K [redacted] at Jungs and he showed me why the coat was not cleaned that being the tags being in pristine shape, the coat still not clean in general and the fur still having a perfume smellHe explained how he took it to the factory and they inspected it before touching it and when they discovered the bu rn they marked the receipt and waited for Mr K [redacted] to return it to meI welcome the results from the independent lab that [redacted] will send the coat to Thanks Marc
