I did not receive any "FULL SERVICE" as the pump visibly postedAfter I pumped the gas, and asked the station operator Michelle if the cost discrepancy, she admtted she should have done the pumping and other services but she claimed not seeing me, although I was the only one at that laneThus for no service rendered one shall not charge, regardless of the poster showing FULL SERVICE. I expect to have the refund of $The excuse your registed was not set for a refund has no availI assume you have a fund for repaiment of business errors. Please pay the diference from $3.98/gall to $2.85/gallon, the cost of no service at the day of the incident

Review: This business charged me the cost of FULL SERVICE of $3.87.gal, when regular cost was $2.85, with no service rendered, on NOvember 16, 2014. I demanded a refund of $10.71 and I was dismissed. I made numerous attempts of themr ectifying the situation. I trust you can take some action to stop them robbing customers. Thank you for your time to this matter.Desired Settlement: to be refunded by a check of $10.71 with appologies.

Also, the prices for full serve are posted on each pump for each grade of fuel. The fuel price for full serve pumps as well as other pumps is pre-programmed, and we are not able to issue any refunds. Ms. [redacted] had contacted us, and we did offer her full serve services on her next visit, which she declined.

Review: We stopped at Lake Shore Mobil on 12/27/2014 to purchase gasoline. Advertised price for regular was $2.23/gallon. We prepaid at the pump using a credit care and while dispensing, noticed that we were being charged $3.23/gallon. Went into the store and upon speaking with the clerk, [redacted], we were told that we used a full service pump which carries a charge of $1 extra per gallon and pointed to a small sign above the pump that said Full. She stated that usually she would come out or contact us via the loudspeaker, but she had asked another patron in the store if our vehicle was hers and she responded that it was so she didn't. And since she could not see through our tinted windows, assumed that it was the other patron pumping. We asked for a refund of the difference ($17.94) since we did not receive nor want full service. [redacted] indicated that the station does not issue refunds and the best she could do was come out and wash our windows. However, she was the only person working at the store so we would have to wait until no other patrons were in the store. Since we didn't want full service to begin with, we declined and asked for a manager. We were given a phone number to call during limited business hours and was also told that it would be useless to call. She was certain no refund would be issued and that the only thing I would accomplish is getting her yelled at for not informing us that we were at a full service pump. Called the manager on 12/28/14 (no name was provided) and was told that the station does not issue refunds but she would talk to [redacted] to find out what happened and why she didn't inform us the pump was full service. Indicated the best she could do was have us come in and they would check our fluids for us. I reiterated that I wanted a refund of the difference and then requested the number for Mobil so I could file a complaint with them directly and was told they didn't know it. I expressed the small signage above the pump, nothing on the station sign and lack of attendant to actually perform full service seems like deceptive business practice. If the pump is for full service, the prepay option at the pump should not be available.Desired Settlement: We would like a refund for $17.94 - which is the "premium" charge for full service. These services were not requested, not wanted and not performed.

Also, the prices for full serve are posted on each pump for each grade of fuel. Also, as with all other pumps, if the customer swipes their card at the pump, no approval will be required from the cashier to start pumping fuel. The fuel price for full serve pumps as well as other pumps is pre-programmed, and we are not able to issue any refunds. Mr. [redacted] was offered full service, once by [redacted], the cashier on duty at the time, and a second time by the manager over the phone. Both times, the customer declined the service.

I would like to share the experience that I had at Lakeshore Mobile, Inc.The experience was horrible. I would not reccomend anyone using the services of this business. I took my car in for a 100, 000 mile check-up. The car was at the auto shop for fourteen hours. They were supposed to check everything on my vehicle including the battery, the exhaust system, the spark plugs, the windshield wipers, the hoses and lights. They were also supposed to do an oil change. When I picked up the vehicle I noticed that my head light was still out. I had to wait additional time for the service man to replace the bulb. On the way home the service light came on. I had to go back the next day to have that looked at. When I told the owner that I was not happy with my service, he had no apology. The service man said that they did not replace the light because they didn't have time! The vehicle was there for fourteen hours! I will never recommend this service center!

Review: In July my car started smoking on the freeway and needed to be fixed. I usually take it to one shop that always takes care of me but I decided to get it fixed closer to work. I was told the heating hose was the cause, paid around 280.00, and picked up my car. When I got it home it started to smoke again. They did not fix the problem. They must not have driven it around to see that the problem was not fixed. So I took it back. They came up with the water pump also needing to be fixed and the timing belt needed to be replaced. This was an extra 548.56. When I went back in person to ask if they could take a little off of my bill because they failed to fix the problems in the first place I was told that they aren't the kind of shop that fixes every problem on a car. To me, an auto shop should fix the main problem and make sure other things are all good just in case. I paid and left. But this caused me a lot of trouble. I had to have my car towed 2 times. I had to be without a car for over 5 days because I had to bring it back.

In September I was driving close to home luckily and my car started shaking so bad that I was scared I would get into an accident. I got it home and took it to the old repair shop all the way in Franklin. [redacted], the owner told me that there was a lot of damage done 619.57 worth, and that it was because whoever fixed it before didn't do the job. He also told me that they did not need to replace the timing belt and he had just put a new one in there for me previously. [redacted] wrote this on the receipt I got back from him:

Inspection found engine shakes & vibrates while running. Found front engine mount loose on engine. Mount dragging on timing belt & timing belt tensioner pulley. Further inspection found front engine mount bracket to block 2 bolts broken & one bolt missing, NOT installed. Recent timing belt replacement caused this failure. Lower front engine mount bolt was not installed causing bolt damage.

So, not only did they not fix the first problem, but the second time I took it in they fixed problems that didn't need fixing and didn't properly fix anything so these problems I just had to pay for was because of them. I could have gotten in a bad accident because of this and it scares me that they are doing this to a lot of other people in the area. Accidents will occur and this needs to be addressed right away.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund.

Response:

Ms. [redacted] came to Lake Shore Mobil on 7/18/13 with a leak in the heater hose. The plastic coolant tube was cracked and previously glued together which was shown to her. The heater hose was replaced. (See attached invoice #92841). We also did an oil change based on Ms. [redacted]' request. After the repair was done a pressure test was done, the technician test drove the vehicle to make sure everything was running correctly, and then let it run idle for an hour, making sure that there were no leaks. The car did not overheat .
