is not a resident of Lakeview Apartments and was visiting a resident of Lakeview ApartmentsOn March 28, 2016, Ms, *** visited the leasing office of Lakeview Apartments to obtain a visitor's parking permitThere was a mistake with the expiration date written on the visitor's parking permitThe inadvertent error, which neither the staff member nor Ms*** were aware of, resulted from entering into a new month wherein the staff member accidently wrote 313/as the expiration date instead of 4/3/
Site thana'gement made several attempts to contact the resident and Ms*** upon discovery of the error on the expiration date on the visitor parking permit they did in fact forget to contact security, who in turn also tried unsuccessfully to make any contact with the resident and Ms***At that time security placed a tow tag notice on the window of Ms***'s vehicle advising her to contact managementUnfortunately the tow tag notice left a minor sticky residue on the vehicle's window, one which could be wiped off with any number of simple cleaning products
Ms*** came to the leasing office the following morning in an aggressive manner, swinging the door open causing it to slam against the wall, demanded for us to clean up the window and stated she was going to call the police for vandalismAs she exited the leasing office she again slammed the door closed and the staff thought it was going to break the glass from the doorMs*** was visiting out of state and is no longer here for us to remove the sticky residue left behind from the tow noticeThe resident Ms*** was visiting also attempted to clean up the residue but Ms*** did not allow her to
We feel the matter was handled as well as could be expected, apologize on behalf of the staff but deny that the complainant has a claim of vandalism

Not only was this business caught lying about trying to contact the resident or myselfThey are also lying about the 'aggressive manner' that I told them to clean my windowThey refused to clean my window with the 'simple window cleaner' & acted in a despicable manner when it could have been handled so 'simply'This is all due to their own negligence & are now replying a month after a complaint was filedThey also have threatened the resident with eviction because I reported their actions to an outside agency which is illegal, & clearly stated so in the California tenant laws
