Had been a customer of Boulton Pool Service for approxmos at the recommendation of our realtor As a first time pool owner relied on the expertise of our service to maintain and trouble shoot pool issues At first everything went well, over the last weeks however major issues I have been quite unhappy with customer service and lack of knowledge Have called three different times to voice my concerns and feel concerns fell on deaf ears Algae was a problem as well as cloudiness of water Pool service was only checking chlorine level and pH level I was being told I just needed to go ahead and fully change water in pool Pool water was never fully tested I took water to different places as well as had another pool service come out Results of these agencies were within the same range All the chemicals were off in readings for what they needed to be Also new pool service informed us our water level was too low I feel Boulton service obviously needs to improve the training of its help and listen to their customers Also the price I paid for my service with them was high for the standard of the industry

Boulton did the pool inspection of a home I recently purchased, and recommended only a general cleaning of the filter and pool and repair of the two lights (one in pool, one in spa)After moving in, I noticed that Boulton failed to notice the pool deck was being lifted away from the top of the pool concrete side (likely due to tree roots) and that could be a structural issue with the poolI would expect a professional pool company to make note of this during the inspection, but [redacted] did not even notice Regarding the documented issues with the pool during the inspection, I asked the seller to replace the light bulbs and pay to have the filter cleaned, which they did, using Boulton's service Come to find out, that Boulton "cleaned" the filter without noticing it was broken, and upon using the pool system, the filter was leaking all the small debris back into the poolLuckily I have a home warranty which covered the (~$300) replacement of the pool filter gridsI have no idea how Boulton could have cleaned the filter without noticing this, unless they were the ones to break the grids during cleaning Boulton did successfully replace both lights, but about months later, one light is burned out (less than minutes of run time since they replaced), and they offer no guarantee, no discount to replace again within a time period, no nothing! Icing on the cake DO NOT USE THEM for any inspections or repairs!!

I have no idea how Boulton could have cleaned the filter without noticing this, unless they were the ones to break the grids during cleaning.

Boulton did successfully replace both lights, but about 6 months later, one light is burned out (less than 60 minutes of run time since they replaced), and they offer no guarantee, no discount to replace again within a time period, no nothing! Icing on the cake.

DO NOT USE THEM for any inspections or repairs!!
