I am rejecting this response because: The images were not reviewed when this response was madeI have a copy of my images from *** ***There is not a single contrasted image of my *** and *** spineWhen I had my MRI, the two spinal ones were done then the ***After the first scan of the *** was done the tech administered the dye and the *** was done againShe did not once move me in the machine to have my *** and *** done again with contrastI would have been in the machine much longer than I was if it was done againOnce again, I would like a further and detailed review of this done

After corresponding with the other party I believe we have come to an agreement on the outcome of the investigation and that the procedures billed accurately reflected those performedI have given my email and phone number contact info to her, and am happy to discuss this or other procedures in the future with her

We have reviewed the diagnostic imagining records as well as the actual MRI results and dictated reports for this patient from April 20, and found that she did in fact have a *** MRI with and without contrast as well as a *** MRI with and without contrastWhile the original orders
under which she came to the hospital for evaluation may have been for without contrast, the imaging protocol for the condition for which she was being evaluated requires imaging both with and without contrast for accurate and timely resultsHad the imaging protocol not been followed, and a study been done only without contrast, she would have unfortunately have had to reschedule and return for another visit for the studies to be repeated with contrast in order to accurately assess her conditionThis would also have had the unfortunate effect of her being billed an even great combined amount for the repeated study and delaying the results of the testing for which she originally sought out the MRI procedures. In this case we have billed for the imaging studies which were clinically indicated and performedWe are unable to make a change to our billed CPT codes to procedures which do not accurately reflect the procedures performed
