I cannot imagine how this place has an A+ ratingThey don't show up when scheduled, they are hard to get ahold of, they don't call back, and some of then are rudeI spoke with the manager today after the technician has been here times trying to fix my dishwasher, explaining that I am selling the house and closing WednesdayHe insisted they only had one technician and could not come any earlier than Wednesday, AND then proceeded to give me real estate advice I certainly did not ask forI have read the other reviews, and in my opinion it's telling when a businessperson thinks that an apology makes up for terrible service

Absolutely rude I spoke with *** numerous times They were supposed to call today, at 10am, to give me a hour "repair window" during which their repair person would arrive for a warranty repair on a Samsung dryer At noon I call them and she says "Oh, I tried to call but the line was dead and your parts are not in" Funny, I was receiving calls fine all day and I guess they only try once Also funny that they know what parts my dryer needs when they've never even seen it Total BS and just plain rude on the phone I wouldn't pay for them to change the water in my toilet, much less touch my electronics

I would have to rate their customer service with a grade of "F" The technician never showed when promised, and an office staff member setting up appointments was very rude and unprofessional I will never have that company repair any of my appliances again!

This service company just out right sucks! I called Samsung service about a washer that was months oldSamsung Service sent Lakes Electronics to repair my washerThe intial call was on the Wednesday before thanksgivingThey showed up the Wednesday after thanksgivingWith a part that I told them specifically that the washer didn't needThe tech said it needed a new motor sensor partHe finally showed back up the end of the next week and attempted the repair but the board he brought did not repair my machineThe tech said he need to get more partsHe returned for the third time with all new boards, wiring harness, and motor sensorHe spent hours working on my machineThen told me he had the wrong board and some other tech had my boardSo he returned for the fourth time with the "correct board"He spent another two hours repairing my machineAnd said it now was workingBut said that the washer needing bearingsThis is after I heard him beating on my machine trying to repair it So now after and half weeks waiting to get my washer repaired it is not working like it did before it broke down and sounds like a freight train during spinNone of which it did beforeNow two weeks later my washer has broke down againThe motor won't even turn and the timer is eraticMy recomendation is not to use this service company to repair anythingThey are rude and do not know a *** thing about what they are doingI have been in touch with Samsung Service to get a return credit on my now useless washerI am hoping that this also does not take an excessive amount of timeI will be selling these Samsung machines at a lossBecause of their sorry performance and the serious lack of qualified field technicians for service

Lakes Electronics supposedly fixed my Samsung refrigerator and charged me 451.00. Still have the same problem 20 days later.

Worst repair service! This company was recommended by Haier as their repair service. My Haier washer needed a simple electronic control panel replacement. When the first technician came he changed electronic panel BUT broke the top of washer. When I asked them to come again and replace the top second technician came. He spent more than 3 hours to replace top of Washer and broke my unfortunate Washer completely. It stops to wash at all and clips which hold washer lid were broken too. I was in shock. I had to invite other repair company to reanimate my Washer. This is terrible company. Technicians doesn't have hands at all. They really don't understand what they do. If you don't want to lose your appliances at all beware of their services.

In fairness, this experience happened on September 12, 2012 and I am hopeful that it was an isolated incident. We had a recall service done on our Samsung flat screen. Lakes was contracted by Samsung to do the repair which was fairly simple involving replacement of faulty capacitors.

The technician "[redacted]" turned on the TV to verify the slow start issue. On start, the TV emits a distinctive tone through the speakers that [redacted] presumably heard. [redacted] put the TV on the floor and completed replacement of the capacitors. He then notified my wife that the repair was complete and left the house. She then went in and tested the TV and found there was no sound. She went to the driveway and told [redacted] about the issue.

[redacted] asked about external speakers, but we had always used the internal speakers on this set, and there was never a problem with them before the repair. [redacted] was getting angry and as he removed the stand from the TV he accidentally let the set fall to the floor face down. As we have carpet, it did not seem to be damaged.

[redacted] removed the back of the TV and found that the speaker wires were pinched. He insinuated to my wife that we had done something, and when she told him the back has never been off the TV before he replied that "it must have been magic". He then said there was no time to get an estimate and proceeded to splice the damaged wires. He then told her we were getting a $225 repair for free.

As [redacted] was walking out the door, he repeated to my wife that she was getting a $225 repair for free.

Needless to say, I was not home during this repair. I would not feel comfortable allowing a technician from this company into my home again.

Unethical, Price Gougers and take advantage of the uneducated consumer - Spoke with manager [redacted] at Lake Electronics and advised him that the part he was quoting as a $577 repair quote is only worth $160 for a power supply. My wife was scheduled this only because it was recommended by Samsung. She was home alone at home when the repair technician came and quoted us an insanely expensive part and labor costs. They would not let us speak with the person that provided the price quote over the phone, said she had to pay the $150 for the visit and speak with someone after the fact. She paid, and what we got was a 5 minute visit, extremely rude customer service interaction and now I will have to make the repair myself. Even me making the repair myself, I will save over $250.

We were given this repair company as approved by Samsung. We needed our water dispenser fixed on our refrigerator. They cancelled the first appointment and when they called to reschedule I told them we needed last call. When the technician called to tell me our appointment was scheduled for 1-4. I immediately said that was unacceptable and I would find another company. A few minutes later he called back with the appropriate time slot. They said the service charge would be included in the cost of parts and labor. Sounds good huh! Until they charge you $225 for labor and it takes 10 minutes to hook it up!!!! That's ridiculous! How do they sleep at night knotthey rob people!

We have been dealing with Lakes Electronics, an authorized service dealer for Samsung appliances. Our experiences with them have been horrific. They are rude and not very accommodating with scheduling appointments. They are supposed to call you back and do not. I would not recommend them to anyone!
