I received your letter regarding a complaint from Jennifer [redacted] I am attaching a copy of the remittance from her Insurance clearly stating they paid us (which she clearly had wrong in her complaint) The amount due by the patient is all deductibleOur billing department tried to explain this to her on 3/and I left her a detailed message yesterday (4/12)As for the amount we billed the insurance company, that is based on the top payor and that fee has not changed in yearsWe bill for new patient comprehensive exam as some insurance allow that much, and some allow a lot lessWe could have sent in a claim for or and her insurance would have still allowed the you see on the attached RAShe paid us a copay when she came in so her remaining balance due is which is all deductibleI contacted her Insurance company today and was assured they processed the claim correctly and she does indeed owe us the balance of We charge due at the time of visit for uninsured patientsFor these patients we do not submit a claim, we do not bill the patient and the money is collect prior to the services
