On September 30, 2013, [redacted] brought his refurbished [redacted] to Impulse Computers requesting the installation of the new [redacted] He specifically instructed us to not install [redacted] , which we did not Although the machine was very old, after we installed the new [redacted] , all the necessary drivers for the entire component to function properlyWe installed all the latest updates that we could in order to make sure the machine was completely UPDATEDThe customer came to pick up the machine, and we showed his everything that was done and he left satisfied One week later, he came back upset, saying we did not install [redacted] and other updates [redacted] was not installed due to the customer’s specific requestAs for the updates he was referring to, we had already informed him that because his machine was old, the machine could only accept certain updatesWe had explained this to him when he had picked it up one week priorWe went ahead and installed [redacted] right away and explained to him again that we could not install anymore updates because it would cause his machine to crashHe then left with his machine A little after a month later, the customer came back, threw his computer on our counter, claiming that it did not workI turned the computer on and found that the machine had become heavily infected with virusesI told him that machine was infected due to visitation to certain websites that would incur such viruses I reminded him that this was not something we could have done to his machine and that we had showed him that it was working very well when he left a month agoDespite returning after the day warranty period (in which we do not charge for repairs after we return a computer to a customer) and his accusations, I told him it was something we could fix if he could leave his machine with us in order to accurately inspect itHe demanded we fix it right away and began to use extremely abusive languageHe accused us of lying to him and infecting his machineHis choice in words then became racially offensive and it was clear that this was no longer about the computerHe shouted for me to go back to my country, ‘you Indian *Word Rejected*’, with much profanity, and said this land was his grandfather’s and that we had stolen it from himHis insults and abusive language could not be tolerated and I told him he would have to leave my storeHis shouting and insults continued (with more profanity and racially charged language), saying that this was Texas and we weren’t welcome hereHe stood at the entrance of my store and urging me to come out and fight himMy daughter had to close the door to stop him from standing at the entrance and continuing to yellHe then stood outside our store, saying that he would tell everyone that we cheated himHe then went to neighboring stores, talking to people and pointing at our store After he left, I called the police to file a reportThis man is no longer allowed to come to my store

Horrible , terrible service Went to get my laptop fixed as it wouldn't turn on I dropped it off after he assured me he will get it turning in for "dollars"Days go by and he tells me it's the hard drive and he will have to replace it, the price jumps up to 250, reluctantly I agree A few more days go by and another call, "we were unable to use your Microsoft key it will be another 150$ to get a new one" at this point I'm confused and annoyed at the now twice price jump, I ask him to take it all out I don't want to pay it and the owner goes ballistic, using every swear word he knew and acting in a threatening manner I told him I'd be by to pick up my stuff Miraculously he was able to "find my key" when I get there he has my computer ready took for At this point I just want my computer and to be forever done with the place so I agree I take it home and realize that he put a pirated copy of Microsoft on my computer I call Microsoft and HP and they both confirm this I take it back and ask them to put my original Windows on and the teenage employee, the only one who was helpful, agreed to do anything he can to fix it It was never fixed as he could only add a few programs from the Microsoft site Overall the most negative experience I've ever had in customer care The man is the furthest from professional and not to mention has a special needs employee working he calls "an intern" and pays him extremely under minimum wage

We have used Impulse Computers numerous times and have been quite pleased with service and resultsToday they were able to provide same day service with data rescue from a broken external driveThey are very patient with someone less knowledgeable like me

I am rejecting this response because:the reply from company is not accurate.when I first paid him the first time to repair my computer. He told me that he took an extra hour to load up dates that he did not have to install.he is now telling you that he could not upload the updates.the first time I took the computer home it would shut down and not run properly so me being very busy with my company I used another computer that I owned. Later when I took the computer back I paid him again to repair it.again I'll take the computer home and it did not work properly. I took the computer back in his own son told me that his father have not loaded what he said he did. His son told me that he would have to wait because he did not know how to love him.excuse me not love but he did not know how to load them.I had a friend look at my computer and she told me that none of the upgrades that I had paid to be put on my computer has been installed. My last time in the store I calmly asked him being that I have paid twice to fix my computer and it was never done correctly I'm asking that someone repair it while I'm in the store or at least look at it and tell me what is wrong. He insisted that someone else would have to look at it because he did not know. He said someone else had more knowledge on the subject. I told him that I had been paid I paid himto fix my computer and it never worked at a time.the whole time this man was speaking very loud and disrespectful to me. He told me that it was an old computer and it was a piece of [redacted] . I told him regardless I paid him to do something that he did not do. He told me to leave the computer or take the piece of [redacted] and get out. At that point yes I started raising my voice. He came from behind the counter at me and so I started backing up to the front door. He was being very aggressive in approaching me with loud abusive language. So I took my computer and stepped outside of the store and told him if he would like to continue to insult me do it outside. I told him that this is America and people have to do what they say they're going to do if you're in business and you were paid to provide a service. I told him that I would call the Revdex.com. He told me to take my piece of [redacted] and leave that he was calling the police and he did not care who I called. His daughter came to the front of the store and told me to get out. I tried to reason with his daughter because she I was trying to calm things down. He was standing behind her saying insults to me. He insulted me he insulted Texas and he insulted the United States of America and I fought for my country and I will not have it. I will not be happy until I am reimbursed for the both times that I paid him. If I need to call a congressman or senator a mayor or whoever I will spend any expense and exposing him
