misinformation/ lack of communication resulted in being submitted for eviction!
I was turned in for eviction early August for July rent due to misinformation and lack of communicationThe complex has a high turn-over rate for apartment managers so during the summer months of there was no managerBecause this the Regional Manager had to float/fill in at the propertyThe regional manager had no back history of tenants or business issues pertaining to the complex, so she *** submitted myself as well as others to an attorney for eviction, thinking that I had been a repeat offender , but I wasn't, I had never been late or turned over to collectionsUpon receiving the first and only notice regarding the issue, which was the sheriffs dept notice the week of 8-15-16, I went to the office and spoke with the receptionist who re-assured me several times through phone conversations with *** herself, because I could never speak with her myself, that it would be a pay and stay b

This is my second response for you info since I responded the first time letting you know that I was out from April tll Mid June and would have to research this.    Well I did the research and The move out form was signed by [redacted] the head of household  5/9/15.  The notice...

to vacate was given on 3/9/15 with a move out date also of 5/9/15.  The prorated rental amount per day is $24.30  times 9 days $$218.70 not the $170.00 they paid.  We did go ahead and proces throug the system a partial refund from their $250 deposit for $201.40 on 7/2/15.  This check is cut and sent from our Corp. office in Atlanta.  I have a message to our accountant as we speak to see if and /or when the check would be cut and sent. Sorry of the troubles but my staff nor myself was prepared for my Leave of Absence for such a long time for unexpected surgery.  We hope they can forgive the office staff for not having full knowledge of how to handle situations they did not normally handle and had to await my return for many things.  I have attached copies of the move out form and Notice of Intent to Move out .

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: After speaking with the company's representative Mr. Ricky S, I found him to be quite arrogant and disrespectful! I feel that as he supposedly represents the company, he could have been a little more concerned about the damage done to the customer, rather than just the complaint that I'd filed here. I feel that the "token" amount (as he calls it) was just an attempt to satisfy the Revdex.com's faith that he is in fact sincerely sorry for his agents behavior, and that he was doing everything he could to right the wrong done. This is not the case at all. I've finally grown tired of his insistence that I take down my experience with his company, while at the same time have to engage him and his accusatory conversations about "my" behavior! That in itself, is just his pitiful attempt to deflect from the issue at hand, and the issue at hand is in the fact that "I" filed a complaint against them - not the other way around! I am a fully grown man, in my on home, on my own phone, listening to this man continue to try to find fault in me, repeatedly interrupting me when I speak, and then accusing "me" of whatever just came out of "his" mouth! After enough of this, I finally told him what he could do with his check! He's offered me money - only because this complaint disturbs him so. I didn't ask him for any money! I did however, ask his agent to remove my info from their site immediately after I'd found out what had been done. Nobody cared to do anything then! Why should "I" now? I was told that I'd have to wait! Meanwhile, their affiliates are calling me left and right! I've had the peace and quiet home my home violated, simply because I'd called MOVERS.COM to ask a few questions about the process in regards to hiring a moving company. I never gave anyone my permission to publicize my personal information- information that I've paid for years to remain private, but this company's agent deliberately collected my info and published it as if he were me - without my knowledge or permission! Now this Mr. S wants to try to attack me for "my" attitude? Ridiculous! I have every right to be bitter, and for him to think that offering me a couple of dollars, that I'd take it and run - like a dirty little rat that he can just toss a piece of cheese to, is even more offensive! I've told him what "I'd" like him to do - if he's so sincerely sorry, but he doesn't care about that. All he wants me to do is submit to his desires, and remove my complaint from this site! Mr. S accused me today of trying to make this about money. I wrote this complaint long before anybody had said anything about money! I'd never asked him for a dime! I had money when I'd called to possibly do business with his company! He's the one who'd offered me "money!" What he doesn't realize is that, I have my own money, and that I may have been a little better served by seeing a little more of his integrity! He can keep his money! This is a most despicable company! I will never forget my experience with them. I will spread the word about this company on all of my Facebook pages, and write more reviews about my experience with them on various other sites as well! People should know, that when they call MOVERS.COM, THAT THEIR PRIVATE INFORMATION MAY BE SHARED, WITHOUT THEIR KNOWLEDGE OR PERMISSION - simply for just calling in for a question or two! People should know, that if you have a problem with this company, that they may not be treated with respect and curtesy, but that instead, they may be attacked, and accused just as I was! I'm glad that Mr. Ricky S has finally shown the true side of his face! Now I know for sure that I'd made the right move when I brought my complaint to this office! People should know my story, and I'm so thankful that the Revdex.com is here for us all!
Regards,

Further to our conversation, yesterday about the complaint we have from one of our client, [redacted] . The filled a chargeback and we provided the rebuttals from our side and attached is the response from the Chargeback Department.   The funds have been debited from our account and we have...

stopped our services to them.   You can review the complete document to see that even though we charged their card as per the agreement, they still filled a chargeback and claimed the funds even after we delivered them the services.

The complaint is for Lakeside Apartments [redacted]. I spoke with the manager [redacted] who acknowledged the complaint yesterday. She is currently taking the steps to resolve my issue.

Company called and stated issue is resolved

Review: I occupied a 3 bedroom apt in Apr 2012. My son was accused of driving 80 miles in the parking lot that has speed bumps & curves, which makes it impossible to do. You really cannot drive above 30 miles an hour. I was told to add my son to my lease by filling out paperwork & pay a $35. fee, which I did. My apt was broken into one Fri & I was told I had to wait b/c it was the weekend. I called the next day & was told if I didn't call the police to get a report I would have to pay for damages. I learned from the maintenance man that I had a security alarm but I was not aware of it or how to use it before that. My air was not working in the bedrooms, so I reported it and it was never fixed. I had to buy 2 fans from Wal-Mart. All tenants had to apply for stickers for cars at the complex. They would only give me one sticker b/c they said my son was not on the lease, but I paid the $35. to have him added. I was $1.00 short paying rent and received a letter that it must be paid immediately. I paid it the same w/a money order, but the letter I received had my name and my son's name on it as lease holders, but they denied him a sticker for his vehicle saying he was not a on the lease. They said he would have to park away from the complex at his own risk. We have been harassed by staff members and are not the only tenants who have complained about unfair treatment. Nothing gets repaired unless you call & call. The outside is not clean and children are unsupervised. My car was keyed but I did not report it b/c I knew nothing would be done about it. My rent was paid in a timely manner, except for the $1.00 that I missed. I would pay the extra $50.00 late fee if I knew I would not make it by the 3rd of the month w/out being told to do so. I don't have a job and can't pay the rent so I had to move out of the apartment. They kept my $250.00 to clean the carpet which is fine but being harassed when you are doing everything you can to follow rules is not. I don't have a job now so I had to Move out.Desired Settlement: I would like to be let out of my lease due to harassment and not having a job and I do not want this on my credit or to affect my credit score. I did everything according to their rules, but they always found something wrong. I moved to Slidell from another state and I had someone helping me pay rent who is no longer helping me. Again, I do not want to have to pay them any more money as I left the apartment clean and I took pictures and I don't want this to affect my credit or credit score.

Review: I moved out of this apartment complex on May 8th of this year. In the lease, it states "We'll mail you your security deposit refund (less lawful deductions) and an itemized accounting of any deductions no later than 30 days after surrender or abandonment, unless statutes provide otherwise." I have yet to receive either of these items, and when I went in to the apartment to find out why, they say I owe money for rent. My rent was $729 per month, which I paid every month. My first months prorated rent was $558.90 which I paid and for the final month prorated rent I paid $170.90. The rent was always paid on time. When I asked why I have not received the security deposit refund I was told that I would not receive either until I pay the remainder of my rent, and I was also told that the refunds come from the corporate office, which they refused to give me contact information for, and that the refunds usually take a couple months, instead of the 30 days provided in the lease.Desired Settlement: I would like to have my security deposit and an itemized list of deductions as provided in the rental agreement. The amount of time provided in the lease for the refund is well exceeded. I would also like someone from the corporate office to contact me and explain how the charges were calculated showing that I still owe money for rent. $558.90 + $170.10 = $729.00
